Day 8: June 29

"DAVEED DIGGS!"

It was obvious who the shout was directed to- the person mentioned having ran in the lab moments prier.

"It wasn't me this time!" he shouted back to a pissed off Max, who had just entered the room with a furious expression on her face.

She had red stains on her white shirt- the first time Alexander had even seen her without a hoodie on.

He was beginning to think that she was attached to it.

"Oh yeah?" she asked sarcastically. "Then what's that behind your back?"

Daveed's face went crimson, Aaron spotting a red pouch behind his back with what- he assumed- was black Max's hoodie.

"Give it back, you hoe!" Max shouted, trying to run faster as she balled her fists at her sides, moving them as she went, and Daveed moved to the other side of the table.

"Did you just accuse him of being a garden tool?" Laurens asked from where he was sitting with Hamilton all but sprawled on his lap.

Max turned to him, Daveed stopping as well just a couple of feet behind her.

"You pure, innocent child." she said, making a face between a smile and fake pity. "Even though you're not innocent at all."

Daveed looked at her, looking annoyed despite the grin plastered on his face.

"She just called me a whore!" he shouted, starting to run back into the halls.

Max made an exasperated face, starting to run after him.

As soon as they left, Laurens noticed the face Hamilton was making towards the door.

"Hey," he said lightly, trying not to get the rooms other occupant's attention, "whatever is the matter, mon amour?"

Hamilton's attention went to Laurens, the latter having a raised brow and a frown set upon his features.

"I..." Hamilton took a breath, looking away. "I hate that word..." he trailed off, Laurens kissing the top of his head.

"You do not have to tell if you do not wish, Hammy."

Hamilton smiled, making a set of butterflies fly around in his lover's stomach.

They heard a boyish scream come from above, then badly stifled laughter from the rooms occupant's.
