Day 1

"Do you want me to design your phone case?"

Max, Francis, Samuel, and John had decided to go to John's room- which John had to hurry and get the sheets off of before everyone came into his room.

Max had given him a look that said that she knew what happened in here.

Max was now sitting on his bed, Samuel and Francis were doing head stands on the wall (though they looked like they didn't know what they were doing) as they chatted with each other quietly, and John was on his bed, his legs on the head board and the rest of his body on the mattress, him looking up at Max.

"What is its purpose?"

"To protect your phone if you dro-"

Ring. Ring. Rin-

"Hello?"

Max's phone had started ringing, scaring John, Samuel, and Francis so bad they fell from their places- Max laughed at them before she answered it with a humorous tone to her voice.

"What is it, Daveed?"

Silence.

Laurens could hear some kind of noise coming from the box, wondering what it could be and what it was. Stark had said something about this, though he hadn't really explained it.

"Don't tell Fury, but yeah."

He could hear some kind of mixture of a laugh and cheer from the other end of the phone.

"Wait." she said right after. "Is the rest of the ensemble there? Am I on speaker? Dude. Fine. Wait-"

She looked over at Laurens, Francis, and Seabury, who were all looking back with curious and questioning expressions.

She shrugged at them.

Francis whispered something into Seabury's ear, which the latter responded to with a shrug.

"Do you want to talk to three of them?"

There was a noise that came from the other half that was heard throughout the entire room.

"John Laurens, King George, and Samuel Seabury, so Groff and Thayne might have heart attacks. Well..." she looked to be in thought, rubbing the back of her neck. "Groff might, Thayne will probably hug the living hell out of Samuel, but, that's just Thayne..."

Seabury looked taken aback, looking back at Max with wide eyes as she shrugged at him for what seemed the millionth time that day.

"They don't really know how to use the phone, and the rest of them are getting their questions answered." Silence. "Do you want me to put you on speaker? You can't be to loud, or you'll scare them like a pack of lost wolves."

Max waited a second, then pressed something on the screen. It made a sound when she did, making Samuel and Francis jump and John almost fall off the bed. Max snickered at their antics.

"Daveed and whoever else, say hi to...them."

"HI!" a voice came from the other side, which made Laurens make a sound, which made Max almost snort about but covered her mouth.

"Daveed-"

"Can we come over?" the voice interrupted. The voice reminded Laurens of a person who did but didn't care about anything, and was also calm but scared.

It reminded him of Hamilton.

"I guess," she said, though it came out as a question, "wh-"

"Because, one, we haven't visited in a while and Groff, Lin, Chris, and Oak miss you, and two, we really want to meet these guys."
