How to Train Your Royalty

Jack's POV

The gang went to the training academy of Berk and met with Hiccup and his troops. The dragons are outside the academy and we all gathered.

"What's with the dragons? Are they a bother to our activity?" I stared at the dragons while it looked at us with a weird look.

"Actually no. But we thought that a little training without them would maximize are capability of fighting individually." Astrid explained

"So, no dragons then?"

"No dragons."

"No dragons. Just us and our weapons" as Hiccup ended his sentence, he and the other dragon riders began charging at us with their weapons. The twins had a rope and buckets. Fishlegs had a shield. Snotlout with a huge hammer, Astrid with an axe and Hiccup with a- holy smokes! It's a flammable sword!

While they're charging at us, we prepared our position. I took the lead and charged at Hiccup, trying to freeze him with my shots. Eugene and Rapunzel got to have a fight with Snotlout. Elsa fought with Astrid, Anna and Kristoff with Fishlegs and Merida took the twins by her own. We fought with each other. Metals are clinging. Ice frozen the arena. Shouts and groans all over the place. The dragons watched us and did not do a single thing.

"Ha!" Hiccup charged at me with his blazing sword. I tried to block it with my staff but it was tossed in the air, leaving me powerless. I raised my hands as Hiccup points his sword at my chest.

"Woah, easy there mate. I'm completely powerless without the staff , so mind of taking off your sword at front of me?"

"What? You mean you can't even freeze me without your staff?"

I smirked. "Oh, did I say that?" With my hands raised, I got to shoot snow at Hiccup. Yeah that was a trick. I won.

"Alright that's enough. Time to get going." Astrid lend Hiccup a hand and lifted him up.

We gathered at a table and there I see Rapunzel and Fishlegs sharing their knowledge about dragons and medicinal herbs.

"What are you guys up to?"

"Can you believe it?! Fishlegs here told me everything they knew about his dragon Meatlug and the others and these information are fascinating! One more thing, there are hundreds, thousands of more dragons out their!" Rapunzel couldn't hold her excitement.

"Well, good thing it hasn't reached our part of the world or else we would melt." I joked.

"Dragons may be wild Jack but they are caring creatures and they wouldn't harm those who would not harm them, unless they're the predator type." Fishlegs argued.

"That is why not because you have your guards doesn't mean you shouldn't learn how to defend yourselves, especially from D.S' tricks." Hiccup added.

"So, we going to training school then?"

"Oh great, more fighting." Eugene said sarcastically.

I've been tired for all the fights and shouts. It seems like something is missing. Elsa came to me and asked me what's wrong. I told her that what I've been thinking about. I took a 5 minute flight above Berk to ease my mind. While relaxing on the air, I noticed some campfires and grilled food. Something came to my mind. I flew directly to the academy where the guys would be fighting again. I stopped them with the wind.

"That's enough fighting guys! Time to wrap things up." I told them while picking Elsa up.

"Jack what are you doing?" Elsa was confused.

"We're in the middle of battling each other, which you should also participate in."

"Oh I'll participate alright, but first, why don't we level things up." I pulled Elsa up with me to the air and made the others follow me to the woods.

We gathered at thick forest and the others tried to catch their breathe. Hiccup and his gang landed with their face unhappy.

"Jack what is this all about? You know we are in danger here and all you want to do is fun and games" Hiccup marched directly at me.

"Hey calm down. This isn't about fun, it's about survival."

"Survival?"

"Uh huh. 5 years from now for sure we would be out of our own and far from our homes. So better to know how to survive outside, especially royals who are always assisted by their maids." I glanced at Anna and Elsa who's faces are in shock and with a slight of anger.

"Jackson Overland Frost how dare you talk to us like that?" Elsa scolded me.

"Yeah! You have no rights to talk to the queen and me like that Jack! We definitely can handle ourselves without any assistance." Anna put her hands on her waist to show that she's strong enough. Deep inside, I know they wouldn't survive.

"Listen you two, being out of the castle for just two to three days isn't enough. Anna got help from Kristoff and Elsa starved herself and built that giant Ice castle which she chose to stay in permanently. How's that camping?" The two silenced. I looked back at Hiccup and he seemed to agree with me. Those guys know everything about camping so they would be in charge of teaching Elsa, Anna and Rapunzel about camping.

At day, they would teach various things like rope tying, fire making, or tent building, but at night, the test begins. Night falls and our mission is to cross the 5 kilometer forest and reach Berk's Great Hall. Eret and the twins was on watch. We went to test our survival skills by pair. We paired by couples, Elsa and I, Hiccup and Astrid, Anna and Kristoff, and Rapunzel and Eugene. The dragon riders are a bit troubled by who's gonna be Merida's pair. Snotlout and Fishlegs are arguing over Merida.

"I'll go by myself!" Merida said and walked away. Snotlout and Fishlegs are forced to be together.

"Okay guys, remember that we should take our own paths. And when you get lost, Eret and the twins are there to help you." Hiccup reminded.

3, 2, 1. We ran to the forest and tried to get to the first 500 kilometer by running. We are able to use our magic of course. There are traps everywhere and dragons lurking around. An hour passed and I estimated that we already took 1.5 kilometer with flying low. The place isn't quiet and I admit it was creepy. I can hear dragons and insects. Elsa held my hand and I can sense she was very scared.

"Seems Mrs. Frost here isn't brave as I thought she was." I teased her

"What do you expect? There are dragons around Jack and you know that I'm not used to them! Of course I'll be scared." She explained. I smirked and pulled her closer to we. I grabbed her waist and looked her directly at the eye. Our faces are 5 inches away from each other and our bodies are sticked together.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't leave you unprotected." And I gave her I sweet kiss. Suddenly we hear cracking to woods not so far away. I held Elsa tighter. The noise got louder and we heard a soft shout of pain. I let Elsa stay where she is but she insisted to go with me. I rolled my eyes and let her. She's behind me while I let my staff push the bushed and leaves that blocks our way. The noise got louder and louder. We hid in a bush near the sound. I took a peek and I was so surprised to what I saw.
