Voiceless Prince

chapter fifteen: He left.

It's been a long time since Mel and Ken saw each other. Mel still in the palace trying to protect her sister from javin, it's not like she can't take care of her self, but Mel just like being over protective.

Ken still on his quest to find the remedy for his voice, tried to focus and forget about Mel.

KEN POV.

Am finally alone, again, no smile, no laughter- no Mel. With Mel I felt alive, with Mel I felt like I had a voice. I miss her so much, I wish I could see her, but am hurt, am hurt by the way she left, without saying goodbye, or farewell, seriously who does that.

"Please kill me now", ticki said, as he fell on the ground hilariously. He was hearing all that Ken was saying. But Ken just ignored him and passed him by. Then continued talking to himself as they passed through traders.

What did I do wrong, why am I so lonely. No Mel, no family, just me. I wonder how my kingdom is doing.

"Your kingdom is doing great ken", ticki said as they both sat on a lonely bench...far from the fare.

"Am not sure ticki.....i have goose bumps, I feel like they need me or -or something's wrong, I can feel it", Ken said with a very worried face that made him look like a cute baby.

"Okay, where do you feel it", ticki asked with a sarcastic face.

"I can feel it in my tommy", Ken answered looking worried, as his tommy made an unexpected rumble.

"That's called hunger", ticki said, this time he got paranoid.

"Ticki that's not it, you don't get it am not dumb", Ken replied back, if he had a voice the fare far away would have heard it.

"Uhhmm, technically.......", ticki stopped after he saw the annoying glare Ken gave him, before he stopped. "Listen, Ken they are fine, don't worry, sooner or later you will hear news from the palace", ticki said with all certainty. Then suddenly...horse sound, then the thunderous sound of huff sound  followed, then. A voice.

"My Prince, my Prince", a voice came from the back of ticki and Ken, it sounded tired and weak.

"Allym", ken said, even though he could not hear him. Allym is one of the messengers of feridell- kens kingdom.

"My prince", allym said, as he came down of the horse panting heavily. "You are needed at the castle".

"Who are you", ticki said, which startled allym. But since Ken could not say anything to calm him down, he raised his hands on allym shoulders and then patted him gently.

"Ticki, it's my messenger from the castle, his name is allym", Ken said.

"Messenger! I was just joking when I said some one would come, and I said sooner or later. This doesn't look like a sooner or a later", ticki said with confusion written all over his face.

"Ticki ask him what he is doing here", Ken said.

"Ken is asking What you are doing here?", ticki asked.

Allym although was startled, picked up his hat and placed it on his head,      to show that he wasn't scared, but he was, he has never seen a talking bird before.

"Mmmmmh, he- he is needed in the castle", allym said with fear in his voice.

"Yes, you just said that but why", ticki asked.

"The king of salvari is coming, this is a big chance. It's our chance to form an alliance with them. Our kingdom will be the best if we do that, your highness we need you", allym said,  with a big smile on his face.
