Omniscient's POV

After a long first day, Daniella was finally off and was tired as hell. She'd missed work but the entire time, all she could think about was getting home to her baby and Karcyn.

Daniella walked into the house and tip toed upstairs, careful not to wake anyone although she knew Kamrin would be up in the next hour or so. She crept into his nursery, not surprised to see that Kaydence had moved his bassinet somewhere else. She figured that they'd all slept in the same room.

She followed Kaydence's snore which led to his bedroom and almost melted at what she'd seen. Karcyn was in one of his arms, Kamrin was on his chest, and they all were sound asleep. She smiled to herself and went back downstairs, crashing on the living-room couch.

8:37am *

"Daniella?" Kaydence shook her until she woke up. "I gotta go handle something real quick. Kamrin is up."

"What the hell do you mean Kaydence?" She glanced at her Apple watch and saw the time, also realizing that she was too tired to even take her watch off before she fell asleep. "I got off an hour ago and you just woke me up for some bullshit." She rolled her eyes at him.

"Dani, chill. . I gotta go check on something and I'll be back in about 30 minutes, okay?"

"You can't be fucking serious." She got up and stormed upstairs. Pissed.

Kaydence had to be at the meeting in a couple of minutes and was sorry for having to wake her up. He knew it was risky and that he'd get cursed out but she'd get over it. . He heard the room door slam but didn't bother to go messing with her again.

Kaydence's POV

"Come on, come on. Let's make this shit quick! I got my kids at home." I said as soon as I stepped foot in the trap.

I didn't dap anyone up. All I did was take a seat on the couch and make myself comfortable. "Good morning to you too." Marvin said as he came from down the hall but I ignored him.

"We missing some people, ain't it?" I asked as I looked around at everybody. I didnt see any new faces so I was confused about the whole 'new cook' thing.

"They're here, just not in here." Marvin informed me.

"Yo, KD, step outside with me. We gotta talk." Nuk said out of no where. I followed him out the front door, onto the porch. "Talk." I spoke dryly.

"Don't be mad."

"Nigga, talk. It can't be that serious."

"You know we finna be down here for a lil minute right? This is a permanent spot."

"And? I don't care." I responded. I needed him to cut to the chase.

"An-"

"Come in, we starting." Marvin interrupted us when he opened the front door. "Hold on." I said.

"Save it for later." Nuk walked off of the porch and into the backyard. I scrunched my eyebrows and stepped into the house, not believing what the fuck I was seeing.

I turned on my heels and went back outside to find Nuk. I walked around the house and found him leaned up against a tree, doing nothing.

"My nigga, is you serious?" I asked him. "It wasn't lik-"

"You fucked up for that one." I chuckled and started to walk back to the front. "I need a fucking blunt." I said to myself. I could hear him call after me but I had to ignore it. He was about to get hit if I didn't walk away.
