Zombie Infection

Chapter twelve

  “What is that thing?" Zack called out to the others, "Katherine get back," Zack shouted as i got my katana and started running to it. I looked up at the thing as it came charging at me. I dropped in an instinct just as the thing swung a blow with its right arm at me face, sharp nails protruded from its hands, “Katherine get back!!” Jake shouted as he tried coming after me, “No!” I looked back up it as it had gotten its hand stuck on the car it shrieked with rage as it pulled it away, “Kat!” Zack shouted again but I didn’t listen. I scrambled to my feet as the creature yelled again with and almighty try, pulled it clawed hand away from the car.

  I ducked again just as it leapt to the side and I saw it clinging to a wall on the other side of me, shouted like a mad person. I got ready to kill it as it let go yet again charging at me as I pulled out my katana and swung as it, but I was shock as it broke, “What the,” I looked back up as the creature swung its arm at me and I went flying to the other side of road, “KATHERINE!” I heard them shouting as they left Christi shooting the thing, “I’m fine go help her,” I side pointing to Christi. I got back up getting ready for round two, “Kat wait,” Zack said as he held me back, “Stop I can handle it,” I said whipping the blood from my face.

  As I reached the creature it laid face first on the ground its back had snapped from the impact, its leg lay on the floor where they had propped the demon upon the wall. Then it got back up hardly able to stay it came at me as I pulled out my guns and started shooting at it. As I ducked and rolled to the other side of it, it slowly fell to the ground as it had trouble getting up, “Kill it!” Zack shouted but I waited, “Jake, don’t” I shouted as he started shooting at it. I ran and took cover from the bullets, but then they stopped. As I walked back out I took a look at the creature three bullets were in its head which killed it instantly and the others where all on his body making purple blood spill from it, “God what was thing?” Tony asked as we didn’t dare to take a second look back.

  “So it looks like there are more thing out other then zombies,” Brandon said as he came walking next to Zack, “Well since it’s only the five of us I think we can take them down,” Tony said, “And we have Katherine she’s and upgrade to help us,” I nodded my head so this meant I would have to start using guns again unless I could find another katana. I kept watch out for any other zombies or things that weren’t human, “Tony, where can we go?’ I asked as we reached another city, “If we can find a house or something to hold off on for the night then we can use that and stay for a day or two,” Tony said as we walked into another city. Maybe this time i could find another katana.

  "Tony," I said as i keep thinking about back when Zack and i heard that noise from the room, "Yeah what is it?" He said looking around, "Remember back when we were at that base and you got mad at Zack and i...what was in that room?" He stopped and looked at me, “Remember that girl Emma?” I nodded my head as I remember seeing her the first time we came there, “She had gotten bit when you guys first came we kept her locked up in there and I guess the night we left she had already turned,” “Emma was also my daughter she was only 14 at that time,” “I’m sorry i…I didn’t know,” I said looking back at the ground.

  We kept walking till we reached some apartments we could stay at, “We will stay here for the night set up base and be ready by10:00 tomorrow to leave!” Tony shouted as we went in, “All Clear sir” Jake and Brandon said as they came running out. As I walked into my room it was like the one before the one Sean and I stayed at that night. I had lay down on the bed and then got up to walk around, “What the,” I said to myself as I saw blood coming from the rest room, “Shoot and I don’t have my guns!” I had forgotten I gave then to Zack. I slowly open the door looking in there was a zombie bent over eating someone else blood dripping from its mouth, “Help!!” I cried out as it came charging to me but just with an instinct I ducked down making the zombie run into the wall, “Someone please help me!” I cried as it came again but this time I jumped over the bed and landed on my back. The zombie only hand on arm and one of its eyes were gone, “Kat?” I heard Jake's voice, “Help!” I cried as I stood up the zombie rammed into me making fall back, but I grabbed the lamp standing on the dress and hit the zombie on its head, “Jake!” I saw Jake running in my room, “Holy…” “Just shoot it!” I cried out as I held it back then two gun shoots raged out throughout the whole room.
