--Asgard--
Thor led the Guardians to their rooms. They had to pass multiple hallways and some gardens to get their. The trees of Asgard were beautiful as well as the view when you look up. All the stars shining brightly onto them. Quill yawned as he hasn't slept in 2 days. Thor leaned to him and whispered, "So, how's the Guardians?"
"Besides the fact that we are being hunted for a billion units, I would say we are doing pretty well." Quill said, looking at the gardens instead of facing Thor, "It's just that we are completely lost right now."
"Lost would be the perfect word to use here, dear friend. You are lucky that I let you in my kingdom. My city is rebuilding and doesn't need any disturbance from the outside world." Thor said, taking a look at the Guardians behind him. He felt a little guilt inside of him but ignored it anyways, "But... You are all my friends so you may stay for as long as you want."
"That's great. As long as we don't get killed in our sleep, we'll be fine." Quill said, as they reached their rooms.
There were four rooms in one hallway which belonged to them. They tried to decide which bedroom will be theirs while who will share. Thor waited for them and leaned on one of the pillars. Quill finally came up with a solution.
"Mantis, you get a bed for yourself because you deserve it, I guess. Rocket and Groot, you're sharing. And fo-" Quill was interrupted by Gamora.
"You and I are sharing." Gamora shrugged as she entered the room. Thor gave Quill a little smile when she entered the room.
"Not cool, Thor. Totally not cool." Quill said, following Gamora into her room. Before Thor left, Rocket went up to him.
"This dumbass belongs to the prison. So take care of him, will ya?" Rocket asked, pushing Richard towards Thor.
"Of course. The prison needed people anyway." Thor said, grabbing Richard's collar, "I'll take him out when needed."
"Thanks. We appreciate it." Rocket said, entering the room along with Groot.
"I am Groot." Groot responded to Rocket as they shut the door.
--Asgardian Prison--
Thor and Richard proceeded to walk towards the prison. They were relatively quiet until Richard broke the silence. They were walking alongside the garden area by that time.
"I heard that you helped Quill to save Xandar but failed." Richard silently said
"It was a failure. There were too many Skrulls that were covering the exit so we had to call in our friend to get us out." Thor sighed. "I'm sorry about your planet my friend, I know it's hard to believe that your whole culture was wiped out."
"I'm glad that I know that I'll be one of the few people to resurrect it." Richard tried to deny that there was a friendship brewing here. For the meanwhile, he can't trust anybody.
"I hope you do. The Xandarian culture was quite the polite culture. All those races combining. It was just your war with the Kree that disturbed your culture." Thor chuckled. "Your lucky that you're not the King of Asgard right now because we have wars with basically every race that we disturbed."
