Short, I know.

“Jimmy!” You yelled angrily. “This is the third fucking art show of mine you’ve missed this month! I’m getting so sick of it!”  You stomped up the stairs, slamming the bedroom door open. He was sleeping, just starting to sit up in reaction to your yelling. “You missed my fucking art show!” You yelled again. “Please don’t yell,” He implored quietly. “Why?” You asked, fire in your eyes at his petty request. “I think I’m sick.” He did look more fragile than usual… “Let me see.” You sat down and pressed the back of your hand to his forehead. “You are really warm.” You sighed. “I’m sorry for yelling.” “I’m sorry for missing your show. I didn’t remember the number to the gallery, or else I would have called and told you.” “It’s okay Jim Jam.” You kissed his forehead. “I’ll make you something to eat.” You got up and went downstairs to the kitchen and heated up some soup and made Chamomile tea. You went back upstairs and read a book while he ate. When he was finished you put the items in the sink downstairs, then went back up. You laid in bed with him, wrapped in the comforter. “Mmm…Thank you for taking care of me.” He sleepily smiled. “No problem Jimmy Jam.” You cracked a cute smirk, cuddling into him.

When you two woke up it was dark outside, and the house was cold outside the bed. You groaned softly when you awoke, and Jimmy rolled over to meet your face with his. You smiled at each other,”Are you still mad about me missing your exhibit?” You sighed and smiled faintly,”No.” “I knew it.” He grinned. “Well how can I say no to that beautiful face?” You smiled, pinching his cheeks in between your index finger and thumb. He smiled and moved your hand off his face. He kissed the back of your hand,”I love you.” You grinned, looking down,”I love you too."
