"Baby?" I heard and looked over at him who was sleeping. He was mumbling in sleep. It was cute, but who is he calling baby? Me? Or someone else? Is it a girl in his dream? I was thinking deeply and cut my finger while chopping carrots.
"Aa-ahh" I jumped in reflex with a soft scream and accidentally hit the bowl on the counter making it fall on the ground and break.
Hoseok's Pov
I squinted my eyes in sleep when I heard soft noises but didn't wake up as I couldn't sleep all night. I was too tired to wake up but when I heard something break, I immediately woke up and saw Sumi in the kitchen.

She was crying while trying to clean up the glass pieces on the floor. I quickly walked to her and she lifted her face to look at me with sore eyes. My heart felt like sinking in the ocean while watching her bleed. It was just a small cut but I feel like it's my fault. I married her to take care of her but.. what did I do It's wasn't even a day since we got married but I already hurt her.
I held her shoulders and lift her up on her legs while she was trying to hold back her tears. Without saying anything I lifted her up in my arms and sat her on the counter making her flinch. After turning on the faucet, I placed her finger under the running water making her squirm under it with pain showing on her face. I dabbed the wound with some cotton and wrapped a bandage over her finger.
She was about to get down to pick up the pieces but I stopped her and lifted her again before walking to the couch and placing her on it. This is the first time I held her and my heart is on fire. It's beating so fast like never before.
"I'm--I'm sorry" she said with eyes filled to the brim with tears.
"No, I'm sorry" I replied, cleaning her tears with my sleeve making her look confused.
I stood up and was about to walk away but I felt something tugging on my sleeve. I turned around to see her face shy and nervous.
"Uh..I already prepared some food. Do-do you want to eat?"
I nodded with a smile.
I don't know what she's doing. I never felt this way before for anyone. Her innocence, her kindness, her cuteness, everything is making me go crazy for her. Is it possible to love a person this much in such a short time? If it is possible, why do I love her so much but she doesn't?
