Taking deep breaths, Younha taps her foot on the ground nervously while waiting for the door to open.
She adjusts her dress that she spent all night on to decide. She considered it a big day for her as she was eager to celebrate Hoseok's birthday together with him.
Her heartbeat fastens when she hears the door knob twist from the other side.
"Hello~" Younha and Dante wishes Hoseok who welcomed them inside.
"I heard it's your birthday from Sumi so we came to wish you" Younha says, handing a red rose to Hoseok.
Hoseok looks at the rose and then at Sumi who's standing near the couch with a soft smile.
"Uh..um tha-thanks" he stutters while taking the rose from her.
Getting attention from young girls to pretty women wasn't new to Hoseok. However, it makes him feel guilty now that he's married.
Sumi's lips curve down a bit when she saw her husband receiving a rose from someone else.
Observing the young girl's eye catching dress, Sumi checks her out with an inferiority.
She never felt this way before.
Dante runs to Sumi and picks up Mickey who was circling around her legs. He kisses and then brushes the soft fur of Mickey, making Sumi smile again.
Unlike Younha, Dante was very sweet and loves Sumi a lot which is why Sumi bonded well with him.
Sumi sits on the couch, brushing Dante's hair while he laughs loudly. Meanwhile, Hoseok takes a seat beside Sumi making her flinch in surprise because of what happened just before Younha interrupted with the doorbell.
Not wasting any chances, Younha sits closely to Hoseok with her arm in his.
She just made everything awkward between them.
Hoseok was trying to keep calm because she's still young but her actions are scaring him.
He doesn't want his wife to misunderstand.
"I..uh I'll get you both something to drink" Hoseok says and quickly gets up before walking away to the kitchen.
Younha smiles widely and follows him while Sumi looks at her with a sad face.
She's worried something bad might happen.
She's worried that Hoseok wouldn't love her anymore.
Jumping around like a kid she is, Younha begs Hoseok to take her to a department store to buy some ice cream. Hoseok sighs heavily, pushing her hands away from his body but she doesn't quit it.
Looking at all of this from far away, poor Sumi is in the verge of tears.
She doesn't know what to do.
She wants Hoseok for herself.
She wants to be loved.
Biting her lip aggressively, she tries not to cry in front of them.
"Sumi, I'll buy some ice cream and come back soon" Hoseok says while Younha is pulling his arm.
He turns away with a fake smile spread on his face but his eyes widen when he felt Sumi tugging on his shirt from behind.
He turns around to look at his wife.
With tears dwelling in her eyes,
Sumi shakes her head slowly while saying,
"Please...Don't leave"
