His head touching hers, eye to eye, Sumi's long hair was being stroked by Hoseok as he bids her a bye. They find it hard to leave each other alone as the days pass in their life.

Mickey watches them from afar with a confused look, hoping Hoseok wouldn't squeeze Sumi to a pulp with his affection.

He leaves to work early since he has a meeting to catch up on and Sumi decided to surprise him. She prepared some of his favorite food and packed lunch for him before wearing a beautiful dress. She's visiting her father's office after 8 years and her heart can't be in place. She doesn't want all the workers to go towards her and pamper her so they make a good impression. She had it enough in the past, she doesn't want to be used anymore.

With the cute lunch bag in her hand, she nervously takes the elevator to Hoseok's cabin. When people cramped in the elevator, she was breathless and felt a sudden sickening sensation throughout her body.

But thankfully, she reached the destination sooner than expected. She was greeted by the employees in 'awe' making her feel uncomfortable and dig her nails into her palms. She's still not used to being in front of people, but she's trying her best, fighting her anxiety.

When she sees her husband's name on the glass door, a soft smile creeps on her lips and she walks in without knocking.

His tie loosened, slightly unbuttoned shirt, sweat dripping from his neck onto his chest, Hoseok rests his head on the chair's headrest with closed eyes. Somehow watching him sweat makes Sumi feel fuzzy and weird. She walks to him slowly and cleans the sweat on his neck with the tissue placed on his desk.

Hoseok's eye pops open and widen at the sight before him as he would never expect to see his wife before him, in his cabin. He rubbed his eyes thinking it was a dream but realized it isn't when he felt her hand in his.
She's really here.

Hoseok bites his lip unable to control his smile and gently pulls her onto his lap. He tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. With his hands around her waist, he kisses her shoulder. Her heart did a somersault and the pressure was building inside her chest while he plays with her hair, twirling and pulling it gently.

She moans softly feeling the touch of his lips against her skin and that's when the door opens.

"Hoseok, did you.."

Their eyes widen and instantly stand up to the greet the person.

"H-hi dad" Sumi blushes and bows to her father while Hoseok just stands there awkwardly, straightening his clothes.

"I brought some food, do you want to have lunch?" Sumi asks fiddling with her fingers, trying to stand straight.

"I'm fine baby. Hoseok looks hungry, feed him" Sumi's father chuckles and leaves the room.

Hoseok groans deeply, falling onto Sumi.

"You're heavy" she grabs his shirt and pushes him onto the couch that's beside the desk.

Sumi serves him lunch and watches as he eats it with a wide smile spread across her face.
Hoseok looks beside when he feels a weight on his shoulder. He sees Sumi's head laying on him and smiles.
Hoseok calls out her name trying to wake her up, but she doesn't.

"stop playing Sumi" Hoseok shook his head.

He pats her back, screams her name but she doesn't move a muscle.
Sumi's unconscious.

Hoseok carries her out of his office and rushes to the nearby hospital where Jin's wife, Jiya works.

"Sumi? Hoseok what's wrong?!" Jiya questioned walking towards him in the hallway.

"Ji-Jiya! P-please loo--"

Jiya calms him down and makes him sit on a bench nearby as he tried to regain his breath.

He waits..and waits..and keeps waiting, with clenched fists and a heavy heart. Sumi's father sits beside him and pats his shoulder, comforting him.

Soon the nurse comes out and calls Hoseok to meet with the doctor.

"Jiya is she alright? Sumi is okay right?" the sweat beads on his forehead slowly creep down to his eyebrows.

"Hoseok.." she inhales deeply.

"Don't worry too much, she's two weeks pregnant" Jiya smiles softly at him and Hoseok's eyes widen as he heard the news. He couldn't believe if it was true.

Him and Sumi having a baby?
He's been dreaming about it since the day he married her. To love her, make lovely babies with her and take care of his family well.
He couldn't have a family, so he wanted to give his children one.

"But," Jiya sighs.

The smile on his face fades as he saw her worrisome expression.

"Sumi is very weak Hoseok, she can't have the baby if she's like this. She needs to have complete bed rest for at least two months until she gets better and refrain from overworking herself. "

Tears form at the brim of his eyes but he tries to hold it in. He can't be like this, he needs to stay strong so he can take care of his wife and baby.

"But, Sumi and the baby will be fine if she's careful right?"

Jiya nods with a smile and Hoseok gulps.

He stands up and turns around, ready to walk away but she calls him.

"Remember Hoseok, stress, and work are her biggest enemies" Jiya fakes a smile and Hoseok nods.

He goes out and tells Sumi's father about the news. With the biggest smile on his face, Sumi's father hugs Hoseok. Not wanting to worry him, Hoseok keeps the bad news to himself.

Hoseok kneels on the ground, staring into Sumi's eyes who's sitting on a chair.
He holds her hands and she smiles at him with a pink tint showing on the curve of her cheeks.

With his fingers brushing her face, Hoseok kisses her forehead gently.

"Are you scared?" he cups her cheeks, thumbs brushing her skin.

She shook her head, sending her curls bouncing.
Hoseok lifts an eyebrow at her and she narrows her lips into a thin line.
She nods her head slowly, holding onto the shirt on his shoulder.

"Everything that's happening to you and your body, you need to tell me everything Sumi. Okay?"

With arms around his neck, she hugs him tightly, resting her head in the crook of his neck and Hoseok pats her head.

"Okay," she mumbles against his neck.

She's flustered and he's scared. Scared not just about the baby, but about Sumi.
She is more important to him.

Yes, he wants a child in their lives to make them happier but not at the cost of his life, which is his wife.
