(Just a tad of Angst)

Patton sighs, tossing over in Logans bed, he couldn't sleep. Glancing at the alarm clock on the bedside table, 3am.

Logan should be finished with his work by now..

However, all nighters were common for this workaholic, Logan himself. Working on papers, and unaware of the time, Logan scribbles thoughts down. All whilst the promise he made to patton about going sleep ached at the back of his head, long forgotten.

Patton decides to get him to bed one way or another. Standing off the bed and walking to the work room, the blanket dragging behind him the edges at his sholders and his arms crossed.

"Logie?" Patton uttered as if he was a child too anxious to as for money from their parents.

Logan stopped the instance scribbling and placed his pen down, turning to patton and raising a brow, silently asking him what he wants.

"Geez uh, don't you think it's getting a little late? Come to bed and rest, please." Patton muttered.

"Patton, I'm on the brink of proving my own theory of existential humanity, please, leave me alone for now." Logan said monotoned, bags under his eye's, and sleep obviously needed. Patton knew he's said this before but never went to sleep.

"But this is bad. Your habit of staying up is bad. You forget to eat and sleep, you, your not taking care of yoursel-"

"That's preposterous; I'm expanding my knowledge, if I keep talking to you any longer I'll loose my train of focus." Logan waves his hand dismissively, as he glances at his notes on his desk covered in his scribbled handwriting.

"Logan-"

"In 1942 a British scientist studied focus vessels in the brain consistent of attention spand, on a chimpanzee. Now, one would think since back then they had no proof in technology that they could reassemble humans so much but they tested a hypothesis and took note on how similar chimpanzee related humans correlating to cells and such. However in 1995 it was proven not by the same British scientist previously mentioned, but his son had proven him correct due to advanced technology. . . The point being, focusing is not a difficult thing to begin on a certain subject, but then your too invested in it, that same, uh, creative flow and state of mind, you could call it, is hard to regain after being annoyingly distracted." Logan blocked him out, ending it off sounding a bit too harsh and venom in ' annoyingly distracted'.

Patton bit his lip, thinking it was only Logans sleep depreciation, and that he knows Logan wouldn't be rude to him and be aware of his feelings. But blinking back the stinging tears he felt in his eye's was another struggle. once Logan noticed this he opened his mouth, being choked by a blank, not knowing weather to apologize or tell him to go away.

"You've always been very grumpy when your sleepy." Patton smiled, tears falling down his cheeks.

"Patton i-"

"I'm going to sleep in my bedroom. Make sure to get a little sleep and eat because I'm making pancakes for breakfast." Patton looks down, still displaying his fake smile.
Patton leaves and closes the door behind him, leaving a regretful Logan to sit there.

Logan stands and grabs all the papers on his desk and pushes them off, everything crashing to the ground. As he yells, mainly angry at himself. He sits on the floor setting in the heavy feeling of dread as he remembered how pattons face fell when he called him annoying and how nervous he sounded when talking.

I love him.

How could I hurt him?

Logan thought these two things all night while alone in bed.
