Thomas did his usual routine, grabbing his backpack and waited for his mom, the sheriff of the town, drive him to high school; since he himself hasn't a vehicle.

"Thanks mom, love you" Thomas told her before closing the car door. He glanced up to the spot The Sanders park but it as empty of their vehicle.
That's odd, they'd be here by now they were always early.
Thomas soon found out they weren't just late, they haven't been present for days.
Its been weeks, now. Thomas stared at the blank seats in his classes, it's as though they've dissappeared. He felt like something big was missing from his life and it weighed heavily on the empty lunch tables that Thomas would walk past.
His friends were sat at their table, Thomas sitting besides them, tuning into their conversation.

"I know, weird. Not the first time The Sanders just leave. I heard Their adoptive dad, patton, usually talks the principle into letting them out of school for a while for Bonding purposes and they'd just go on road trips out of state." Leo stated, drinking some milk.
"I wish my parents could do that. Think they'd let me if I tried?" talyn asked while digging though a zip lock bag of baby carrots.
"Nahh they're too strict." Leo told them.
"You'll be able to go on as many trips as you want after collage though." Thomas added.
The brown/purple haired boy's eyes drifted to the empty table across the cafeteria.
It felt so empty.

The next day, Thomas came to class early, sitting down in his seat. The teacher write on the board they needed partners.
Thomas sighed while looking at the empty seat beside him.

Walking into class, were more students along with none other then himself, Roman Sanders.
Roman sat beside him, seemingly in thought as he glanced at Thomas. They never talked much but Thomas felt like he deserved an explaination.

"A friend out of state needed my family's help." Roman muttered as class began. Thomas raised a brow, and turned to him in his seat.
"Roman, um.. I need to talk to you after school.."
"What for?" Roman asked in false unawareness.
"Just  ..something." Thomas muttered while the class began to talk.

For a while now, I've missed him. I've missed Thomas. But it was my fault we needed to leave. I was so careless with my powers and I was reckless with my choice of actions that I cannot remake.
Thomas could have died of I wasn't there.
Now the volturi wanted to have  a case on us because I showed a human my abilities. But .. It was for a good purpose. In glad Thomas is still alive but Logan wasn't nice to me about it all.

I look over at Thomas who was staring ahead at the teacher with a pencil in his hand. Thomas was chewing on the pencils eraser while I began to feel the familiar wave of ease that always projected off him.

When yours always struggling with the stress of hiding a secret all the time then it's usually nice to have someone such as himself radiate an aura of comfort, an almost safeness.  Feels nice.
