🖤 VIRGILS POV🖤
Walking through the corn maze at the october event with Patton and Logan, I sigh feeling defeated.
"Patton-" "daaadd" Patton corrected.
"Fine, Dad, when can we go home? You know I'm not too fond for public events with alot of..people." I mumbled with my arms crossed as we continue to walk aimlessly.
"Considering the corn maze is open until midnight I'm assuming we'll leave sooner." Logan gave a reassuring nod.
"Correct kiddos, we still have to get candy corn pie from Safeway™ for the party tomorrow." Patton uttered with a smile.
The bitter cold seemed to inhale slowly as the night continued, us three somehow stumbled upon talking about horror films that had corn maze in them.
"Wait-didn't Freddy vs Jason have a corn maze scene in it?" Patton questions, glancing at me before Logan spoke up.
"Indeed patton-"
"Dad." Patton corrected and smiled.
"Again patton, I refuse to call you that." Logan smirks at him.
We walk into a dead end, for the millionth time, turning around and taking a different turn."What if there actually was a killer out in this maze? And we died?" I ask quieter then I've had liked.
"Then we'd be killed. Seeing there is no way to contact anyone, this maze is over 5k." Logan adjusted his glasses with one of his hands, causing patton to laugh nervously.
We all stay silent, letting that sink in. Patton clears his throat, taking out his phone and looking for a signal, as we take another turn through the maze; a few crows flying away.
My eyes glance from the floor to the golden corn around me, noticing it seemingly got quieter, my eyes flicker to behind me; seeing nobody's longer with me.
"Very funny. Logan, patton, come out."
My sholder tense, and I tap my heel on the dirt covered in sunflower seeds under me.
"Guys? Patto-dad? ...daaad? Logan?"
Taking a couple steps back, and looking around uncomfortably, the silence suddenly deafening.
"This isn't funny... I'm leaving now, so.." mumbling to myself as I turn back around and walk, as I bite my lip nervously, noticing how dark it's gotten.
A few minutes now, I'm inevitably convinced patton and logan are far from me now-
"Oof!"
I feel somebody's tall body run into mine, making me fall back hitting the floor.
"Dad-" I rub my head with one of my hands looking up at...that's not patton.
"Dad? It's Roman.. but you can call me daddy if you wa-"
I lift my hand up, cutting him off, feeling my stomach do some sort of tingly embrace.
"No. Don't finish that sentence." Notice he's wearing a white shirt, with a red jacket, the sleeves rolled up at his elbows. And dark charcoal jeans that look good in his body built frame. Dark brown short hair, his skin look smooth in the moonlight, his smile seemingly perfect at the lighting. And his cologne coming off not too strong or faint.
He reaches his hand down, offering it to me. I take it hesitantly, and stand up, Dusting off any dirt on my dark outfit.
I notice the difference us, he's bright and built up, perfect teeth and smile, kinda like a disney prince or a brave protagonist that walks elders across the street. I seem like one of those angsty cliche teenagers, that old people look at like they're Satan themselves.
