More often than not, Virgil will scare the living day lights out of everyone without really trying. Over time, everyone got used to it.

It was a nice cold winter morning that Virgil decided he needed something to drink.  He glanced out his bedroom window before getting up and leaving his room. He made his way downstairs quietly, making sure not to wake anyone. It was early, very early, that the sun wasn't even up. 4am.
Virgil hasent slept, not that THAT was unusual. He could hardly sleep and he hasn't had the best mental health lately. He knew that he needed to do .. Something.

Getting to the kitchen, he grabbed a mug from the cabinet and placed it on the counter. He grabbed a teabag and put it in the mug. He then  filled it up with water and stuck it in the microwave, cringing at the no ice it made while closing. The button beeping noise was no quieter.

After about a minute or two, Virgil grabbed his mug by the handle from the microwave. He then placed it down, added sugar and honey, then climbed  on top  of the kitchen counter beside the window and held his mug close. The sun was raising and everything truely felt at ease. Is mind wasn't racing and his palms weren't sweating. He wasn't having a hard time breathing and he could finally think of something other than the worst.

He stared out the window, drinking some tea. The sun was raising. The sky was streaked with vibrant oranges and reds. The dark blue sky started turning lighter and birds started tweeting.

Hearing footsteps, Virgil glanced to the staircase, to find Patton walking down. He looked tired, hair sticking up in different ways and his face stretched in a yawn.

As always, he looked beautiful.

Patton walked into the kitchen, flicking on the light. He walked over to the fridge and grabbed some eggs. closing the fridge door, he jumped back in shock. Virgil felt somewhat bad that he scared Patton.

"Virgil.. What are you doing?"

"Chillin... You?"

"Just making some breakfast .."

Patton put the things down and climbed the counter with him. He sat close to him, resting his head on his shoulder.

They both looked out the window and by now the sun was fully risen.
