“Mummy!” I voice calls me. My eyes flicker open, and I am slightly blinded by the bright morning light.

“Daddy!” another voice hollers, and suddenly, my bed is being jumped on.

“Mummy and daddy are tired,” I mumble to the two girls bouncing on my bed.

“But Mummy!” they both chorus.

”Alright, fine, I’m up!” I sigh jokingly. “Just go downstairs so Mummy and daddy can get changed,” I tell them.

“Okay!” the both say cheerfully, leaving my room.

”Don’t forget to get changed!” I yell after them, heaving myself off of my bed.

The master bedroom in my house has chocolate brown wood floors with cream colored walls. A light green comforter covers the King sized bed on the back wall of the room. I heave myself out of bed, stepping onto the plush tan carpet. I shuffle over to dresser, where the large mirror is.

I grimace at my reflection. Despite having Veela blood,  the toll of having three kids and being thirty seven is not helping my appearance in the morning.

“Ron, get up,” I tell him, just as a snore escapes his lips.

”No,” he mumbles in his sleep, rolling over.

Sighing, I pick my wand up from the dresser. “Aguamenti,” I mumble with a yawn, pointing my wand towards where Ron is sleeping.

”AH!” I screams, as ice cold water comes pouring down on him. “Not nice!”

I grin. “I told you to get up.”

“Why is today so important?” he groans, sitting up in bed.

“It’s August twenty seventh, genius!” I exclaim.

I find some clothes in my dresser to wear and take a quick shower so I can start making breakfast.
