Chapter 7

[That Guy]

I was walking,

Walking so fast and thinking too much…

I did not notice him until I bumped into him.

‘Ohmigosh I’m so, so sorry!’

Then I looked up into his brown eyes.

It was him…

‘It’s alright.’ He replied cheerfully.

Then he winked at me and walked away.

I swear I’ve never seen such pretty brown eyes in my life.

That wink totally made me feel a teeny bit better…

I blushed and smiled.

Brad winked at me!

Adriane saw how star struck I was and chuckled.

‘You sure like him a lot eh? Well, go get him, girl!’

Then we continued walking,

the mood definitely brighter now,

‘You have got to tell me what’s up with you and Brad!’

Adriane grinned, wiggling her eyebrows perversely  before she grabbed a pillow and smacked me with it.

I giggled.  

And yes.

I did tell her,

Even though the only one who knew about that guy was Syria...

Because when the world turns their back on you,

You tend to trust those who stay by you easier

This guy,

Was not exactly my friend.

But we did acknowledge each other.

And… I had a major crush on him

Ever since I met him. 

He’s really cute!

He looks so, so dreamy…

‘And he’s the only thing she hasn’t taken from me and destroyed.’

Adriane gave a tiny cough.

Great.

I felt like kicking myself

I said something too touchy.

I didn’t look at Adriane.

That last sentence was a bit too much.

So we just sat there on my bed,

Not saying a word.

She didn’t want to pry about Syria I guess…

I respected

And silently thanked her for that.  

Because even though I did trust her,

I didn’t trust her as much as
