The door to my bedroom flies open so fast it was almost at the speed of light. Valerie comes bursting in wearing sweats I know do not belong to her or any girl for that matter and a tight tank top. Her make-up is smudged but not entirely because she uses like industrial make-up I swear. Her hair is brushed with her soft waves bouncing around. She looks flawless and a mess at the same time. She hurries over to my bed and jumps on top of it placing her car keys, the spare key I gave her to my house, and her phone.

"Caprice, I had the best night last night." She sighs dreamily.

"Even better than that night after the football game freshman year?"

"Even better. SO you remember that guy I was saying I was going to sleep with last night, right?"

I roll my eyes. How could I? "Yeah."

"Well, I convinced Sydney and Maria to let me go back to his place. His name is Ricky. So I was sitting in his car singing to the song that was on the radio and he just shuts it off. I got really pissed and I don't even know why. He told me to stop talking because no one that beautiful should be upset. I swear to god Reece, my heart melted into a puddle. He told me that he didn't expect anything to happen and didn't want anything to happen because 1) he'd want me to remember it and 2)he didn't want to take advantage of me." She explains and it sounds oddly familiar to the conversation I had with Liam this morning except he was cockier and I was meaner. "So I just slept, like actually slept, with him and we went to breakfast this morning. It was amazing. I think he's going to ask me out."

"That's so good for you V."

Valerie has had a complicated life. Her mother left her and her father died when she was ten. Thy didn't have any other family members so her older brother takes care of her. He's eight years older than her so he was old enough to become her legal guardian when her dad died. He was like he best friend. Her dad got cancer the year her and I left dance school which is why she switched to a private school. She knew her and Steven, her brother, would be on their own and she would need to go to school and get a degree rather than dancing for her own enjoyment. She's always been good about never taking anything for granted. Good things don't usually happen to her so I'm glad this guy likes her and it seems as though she feels the same.

"I know right? And not to mention he's incredibly hot. He doesn't go to school with us though. He goes to Northvale." Northvale is our rivaling school.

"Wait are you talking about Richard Duncan? As in the best high school quarterback in NYC?" I clarify.

She nods her head grinning."Ya girl is lucky."

I laugh at her ridiculousness.

"So what did you need to tell me?"

"Other than I wanted to sleep with Liam last night? Not much." I say nonchalantly.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold the fucking phone. You wanted to sleep with Liam? As in Liam McCormick? As in the boy, you can't stand? Were you on ecstasy last night or something?" She questions.

"No, I wasn't on drugs last night, Valerie." I roll my eyes. "I just...I don't know. One minute he was dragging my drunk ass home and the next I was grinding against him not giving two shits who saw. Then when we got to his house--"

"You went to his house!?"

"Yes, because it wouldn't be smart to leave a drunk Caprice alone in her house," I tell her. "Anyway, one minute we were in his house Cuddling, mind you I hate cuddling unless it's with Bub, and the next we're an inch away from each other's mouths. I was completely out of my mind." I say putting my face in my hands.
