LIAM MCCORMICK'S P.O.V

We walk quietly alongside a long hallway. A light illuminates it every twenty feet with bright fluorescent lighting. It's eerie and the only think you can hear is faint shouting and Valerie's heavy breathing.

The phone call with Damien lasted a grand total of about five seconds. We answered and seemed to already know what was up and just spit out the location and hung up. Carols started to panic but Val calmed her down. At some point. Now we're off to save the day considering Bronx didn't answer her phone. Camila called Bronx's best friend Aspen to watch Lorenzo and Angelo.

"We don't even know what we're walking into." Valerie murmurs.

"Shut up Val," I demand.

"Do you hear that?" She asks stopping in her spot. Camilla and Mike look back at her and I do too. She's standing there with her eyes squinted and eyebrows knit together.

"Hear what?" Camilla asks.

"It sounds like Reece's scream. I've only heard it a billion times. It's her scream." Valerie confirms. She looks down a hallway to her left and back at us and the. back at the hallways before bolting down the hallway.

Camilla, Mike and I stumble after her until we come near to a metal door. It swings open and four big guys walk out. Tattoos down their arms. Their muscles taking over ninety percent of their body. They're steel like faces on their meatheads. Piercings and intimidating looks. That's how you scare someone. The tallest man looks around before hanging a key next to the girl. He rubs his jaw revealing a purple and pink bruise on it and wincing in pain.

"That stupid girl needs to watch her attitude." he snarls. "I could've killed her if I wanted to."

"You have to admit, boss, he's not wrong. It's Damien Hunters daughter. His wife killed your best friend with only a knife. I wouldn't expect anything less from her daughter."

"That doesn't mean she can go around hitting me like this is some free for all. I'm giving them all two hours to tell me what these connections are or I'm killing all of them." He spats out a mouth full of blood. "Even that little bitchy mouth runner."

I know for a fact he did not just address my girlfriend as a "bitchy mouth runner".

They walk in the opposite direction of us.

"That man thinks he has the right, the audacity, to say he is going to kill my sister, kill my nephew, kill my brother in law and most importantly my niece!? I swear to god if I don't get them out of there alive, I'm going to--"

"Camila," Mike says placing a hand on her shoulder to calm her down. She stops in the middle of her threatening rant and looks at him. "Calm down. Your sister is in there and she's not going down without a fight, okay? It'll be okay."

Camila nods.

"That's my best friend in there. I'm walking in there grabbing her and leaving." Valerie says.

"Well let's be a little more coordinated than that," I tell Val and she flushes.

"Wel it's pretty straightforward as that, Liam," Camila says and starts walking towards the door. She pushes it and pushes it but it' not budging.
