The blonde's eyes lit up at the mention of Carlisle, but an angry expression remained on her face.

"Rebekah, let the girl in." A voice said from behind the girl.

Rebekah went to object, but one look from the brunette male made her groan and step aside.

"Thank you." I tell her, stepping into the house. I was even more in love with the inside of the Mansion than I was the outside.

"Please forgive my sister. She can be quite the handful at times. I'm Elijah, Elijah Mikaelson." The brunette introduced. I smiled softly at him.

"Piper Swan." I tell him. Elijah's brows furrow in confusion, but his eyes light up with recognition.

"Are you related to Isabella Swan?"

I smiled at him. "She's my little sister."

Elijah nods, and stays silent for a moment. I clear my throat and began to speak.

"Is Niklaus here?"

Elijah didn't get the chance to say anything before somebody ran into the room. Suddenly, my hand was in somebody else's and being kissed. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Kol, Kol Mikaelson. I'm the more handsome one of my three brothers, I think you'll have a better time with me than Nik." The stranger says.

I ripped my hand out of his and plastered a fake smile on my face.

"Leave the girl alone Kol." A new voice spoke. I looked up to see where it had come from, and met the brooding eyes of an older man. His dark brown hair was styled perfectly, and his eyes held anger.

"You never let me have any fun Finn." Kol whined.

Finn rolled his eyes and began to argue with Kol.

I stood awkwardly and watched the events unfold.

"Enough." Elijah boomed. The two looked over at the other man and Kol had a smirk on his face.

I cleared my throat once again, and spoke.

"So it Nikalus here or not?"

"Why must you all insist on being so noisy. I let you out of your boxes for a week and you're already fighting."

I looked strangely at the man who had suddenly busted into the room with a sketch pad in one hand and a glass of something in his other. I had to admit, he was very attractive, with curly blonde/brown hair and dazzling dark blue eyes that held such mystery.

"Are you Nikalus?" I finally voiced, gaining the mans attention.

The mans blue eyes met my own and he narrowed his eyes as if debating if he should answer or not.

"I am, who's asking?"

I let a small smile cover my face. "I'm Piper Swan, I'm here on behalf of my sister and Carlisle Cullen." I tell him.

Niklaus' eyes lit up much like Rebekah's did at the mention of the Vampire doctor.

"Now, that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. What does Carlisle want?" Niklaus reminisced.

I shrugged my purse off of my shoulder and pulled out my phone.

"As you know a couple of months ago, my sister, Isabella, got married to one of Carlisle's adopted sons, Edward. Well, while the two were on their honeymoon, they ended up getting very hot and heavy most of the time, and well, Isabella came home with a half vampire half human in her womb."

The five siblings looked at me with shock in their eyes.

"How was she able to get pregnant?" Rebekah demanded.

I looked at the blonde with sad eyes. Carlisle had told me the history of their family, what they were.

"Well, Isabella was still human when her and Edward married and I have no idea how it even happened. It's very plot hole-ish if we were in a book."

The siblings looked at me, as if silently telling me to continue.

"Well, Isabella was pregnant for two months before she gave birth. She became the walking dead. Her hair was lifeless, her eyes were caved in, you could see every bone in her body. She couldn't eat anything without throwing it up. The only thing she could keep down was blood.

"The baby broke her spine, sending my sister into labor where she eventually died, but not before Renesmee was born and Edward bit her.

"For three days we didn't know if Bella was going to make it. But she did. And then, one day Isabella, Jacob, Ness and I were in the woods, watching the little one catch snowflakes when one of the Cullens cousins saw Ness jump.

"She didn't let us explain and ran before we could talk. She was haunted by memories of her past and assumed the worst of the situation. She ran right to the Volturi and reported us for a crime we did not commit, and now my family is being marked for death because of Irnia."

I was out of breath by the time my story was done. The Mikaelson siblings looked to be deep in thought. "What does this have to do with us?" Kol voiced.

"Alice saw the Volturi coming for us, guard and the wives included. We are gathering witnesses to speak on our behalf and show them that we have done nothing wrong, that Renesmee is truly a miracle."

I waited for some type of sign before I continued. I saw something flash in Elijah's eyes and took that as my sign.

"As some of Carlisle's oldest friends, he is asking you to come and witness for us, but seeing as Carlisle is not here, I am begging you. I cannot watch my sister die for some stupid mistake she made when she was human. I cannot watch my family die. Please, come witness for us."

The Mikaelson siblings all exchanged looks, mentally debating if they should trust the random girl that showed up on their doorstep in behalf of Carlisle Cullen.

Niklaus finally spoke up. "From what you've told us, if the Volturi are really bringing the guard and the wives with them, you're going to need a lot more help than just us, love. Meet us at the airport tomorrow."
