The next morning I stood outside of the Virginia airport, awaiting the Mikaelsons. I checked my phone and smiled at the picture of Ness in the snow. I had taken that the day Irina came and destroyed our lives. I had no idea if this was going to work, all I could do was hope and pray.

"Well don't you look ." The voice of Kol Mikaelson said from behind me.

I chuckled and turned around to face him. All the Mikaelson siblings were present, with a few new faces who I hadn't seen before. They all looked very similar, with the same bluestone ring I had on my hand.

"Who are they?" I questioned.

Niklaus chuckled before he started introducing the group behind him. "Damon and Stefan Salvatore, the lovely Elena Gilbert, Caroline Forbes, Tyler Lockwood, and Katerina Petrova."

I looked at the six with cautious eyes. "Carlisle only asked for the Mikaelsons."

Niklaus chuckled. "I gathered that love, but Damon here fought with Jasper in the Civil War, Katerina was one of Rosalie's many friends, and Stefan used to kick it with Edward before he caught the Spanish Influenza. They've heard what you told us, and are willing to help."

I nodded my head slightly, before grabbing my bag and walking to security. "Let's move ladies!"

After another eight hour flight, I was safe and sound back in Washington.

I pulled out my phone and shot a text to Esme, telling her I was returning home.

I could see the smile on her face as she texted back.

"Alright. I've been gone for two days, but several witnesses have already shown up. Carlisle and Esme just came back with the Egyptian Coven."

The group of eleven nodded.

It was silent back to the Cullen house. Elena, Katerina, and Caroline were in the car with me, while three other cars followed.

In a matter of an hour, I was back at the Cullens. I let out a sigh and shut off the car. "My life, my sister's life and my niece's life are counting on all of you."

The eleven vampires nodded and I started to walk in the house.

I was met with the faces of the Denali coven and the Egyptian coven. "Aunt Piper!"

I chuckled as Renesmee flung herself at me. She had grown in the few days I was gone.

Bella and Edward appeared in front of me with smiles on their faces. "I'm glad you're back," Bella said.

I smiled and brought my sister into a hug.

Carlisle and Esme walked into the room a few moments later.

"Klaus, Elijah. It's good to see you again." The vampire doctor said, bringing the two brothers into a hug.

Niklaus chuckled. "Carlisle, my old friend."

I looked at the non-Mikaelson group with confused eyes, as they looked at Niklaus with shocked eyes.

"This must be the lovely Emse." Elijah greeted, kissing the brunette's hand.

Esme smiled at the old-fashioned man.

"And I assume that you are Kol and Finn. How nice of your brother to undagger you." Carlisle spoke.

Kol growled while Finn stood emotionless.

"Yes."

I chuckled at Kol's tone. He could be such a child sometimes.

"I see you've brought some company with you." Esme directed towards the group in the back.

"Stefan Salvatore." Edward spoke.

I watched as the two bronze-haired men rushed to give the other a hug. "What a surprise. Edward is alive after all."

I chuckled at Stefan's comment, remembering Bella telling me the Volturi said something similar.

"Thank you, for witnessing for my family and me." Edward said to the eleven Traditionals.

I looked down at Ness who hadn't left my side and crouched down.

"Why don't you show Finn what you can do? Put a smile on his face."

Ness looked up at me with excited eyes. She nodded and held out her arms for me to pick her up.

I carried the little girl over to the eldest Mikaelson.

"Don't be afraid, this is how she communicates." I say to him as I watched him flinch.

Renesmee placed her little hand on Finn's face and let her memories play out in his head.

When she pulled away, a look of astonishment was on Finn's face. "Incredible." He breathed.

Katerine stepped forward and Ness played her memories. The brunette stepped back, with tears in her eyes.

"I will do whatever it takes to protect you, little one."

I watched with a smile on my face as Ness played her memories for the rest of the Traditionals.

"She is truly incredible." Nikalus spoke from beside me.

I smiled. "She really is."

It was silent for a moment between the two of us.

"There was something I noticed in her memories. I heard the conversation you had with Isabella, but you hadn't held her until Bella woke up from her transformation. Why is that?" Nikalus wondered.

I chuckled and began to walk out of the house, signaling for him to follow me.

"When Ness was born, blood was spilled all over the carpet, and I started to change. My gums hurt as did my head, and I couldn't figure out what was happening to me. I was out for a few hours before I woke up and fed on one of my best friends. I was then burned by the sun and wasn't able to go inside until Carlisle told me I could. I spent three days in the garage without seeing my niece, until a little box came to me with this blue ring inside. I was suddenly allowed to go in the sun, and that was the same day Bella woke up. I was somehow transformed into a Traditional vampire."

Niklaus looked at me with curious eyes, as if questioning how that could've happened.

"Thank you, again for doing this. It truly means a lot to me, that you're willing to put your life on the line to save my sisters and her family." I tell him.

Nik smiled. "There's a saying in my family, 'Always and Forever'. We've said that every time things get tough or complicated. Family is the most important thing you are given in your life. You must cherish it, forever. It is the one thing in life that will never leave you. It is my honor to fight for your family in the hopes of bringing mine closer together to the way we used to be."

And with those words, I had developed a crush on Niklaus Mikaelson.
