Mystic

Chapter 2

I woke up in the morning earlier than I have ever woken up before. Andromeda reassured me and said it was a bad dream and gave me some brewed leaves. Which I am pretty sure is Mystic tea. It was supposed to make me fall asleep but all it did was make me struggle more to stay awake to think about things. Thankfully, I finally fell asleep.

It was near 10:00 am when I officially got up. I moved around and went down the stairs to eat breakfast. Andromeda was drinking something that looked like more special tea and smiled at me.

"There are lemon, and blueberry custard bursts on the table. I'll brew more leaves, Do you want any?'', she asked.

I said yes, so she brewed more leaves for me. But, these leaves tasted as if they were different. The other ones tasted like the peppermint flavored hot chocolate my mom used to make. These leaves tasted like cinnamon and apples. It was excellent. I took a bite of a delicious blueberry custard burst. The flavor was marvelous. The layer of "skin" exploded in my mouth to reveal the flavor of the blueberries. It was very earthy and it tasted as if it was just picked off the stem and perfectly ripe. I climbed up the stairs to go to my room to change. I hadn't unpacked my backpack so I did that to find some clothes. I couldn't believe that tomorrow was my first day of school. I ended up wearing some dark blue Converse, jeans, a grey shirt and my special red hoodie: perfect for the cold weather. Andromeda was already dressed and ready to go so I went with her.

When we got to the shopping center, A nice woman named Zoila helped us through the enormous palace. First we went to the bookstore and found my 3 books Dragonology at its Finest book by Mack L. Keimlosh, the Chemistry at its finest book by Mack L. Keimlosh, and the Trivium and Quadrivium book by R.K. Ermest along with a few other books to keep in my library in my room. Then we went to a store where they sold us the rest of my school supplies. After that Zoila brought us to a clothing store where we bought my school uniforms. Penultimately, we went to a place to get my family crest made. Andromeda showed me the diagram. It had Topaz (which was my birthstone) and Peridots which were Andromeda' s birthstone and a Lion which she said represents courage, power, royalty, dignity, authority, justice, wisdom, and ferocity. They made it in front of my eyes. Finally we got lunch. It was a hollow bread that was very wholesome. It blew up like a balloon when they cooked it.

When I got home I was so tired, I gladly climbed into my bed and slept for the rest of the day.
