Chapter 16

   I boarded Bristlecape, who seemed almost to silent and went up in the air flying. I assumed she was nervous or anxious. I whispered to her thinking it would calm her down. Zoila Shape shifted into a dragon and flew with us. The wind seemed silent, but thankfully there were enough clouds in the sky so that no one could see us or notice us. Laurence and Sonia said that they dragons were also unusually quiet. Laurence said maybe they felt scared because of Zoila. Sonia agreed. I smiled at them. And all of a sudden we fell. As we fell I heard Laurence say something.

"We can't have a crisis- my schedule is already full"

When I woke up I was on the floor lying next to Laurence. I yanked myself up falling back down after I noticed that my leg was probably broken. I put some salve on it and made a splint out of a section of fabric and a piece of nearby wood. I slowly sat up and looked at Laurence. I gasped. His face was bleeding like crazy, and at least 3 ribs were broken. His arm was also bent at a peculiar angle. I reached to my neck noticing the blood dripping from a few inches above my eye lathe way down to the middle of my cheek. That was going to leave a scar. I cleaned his face from blood and bandaged his ribs putting some slave on them. He stirred and winced.

"Where are we at." He wheezed.

I then noticed we landed on Earth.

"Earth" I replied.

"Wheres Sonia?" He asked.

"Somewhere around here, I looked for her and could not find her." I replied. He exaggerated a sigh.

"Are you in pain?" I asked.

"Of course I'm in pain" he yelped, "Are you O.K.?" I nodded.

"My legs probably broken." I noted.

"And your head is bleeding" He added.

"You really should drink that" I said pointing to the glittering gold potion around his neck.

He drank it and flopped down towards the floor snoring. It was a Pain killer combined with a sleeping potion. I decided I needed sleep to. I took a numbing potion and fell asleep.
