Chapter 4

The next few months passed by so quickly that by the time it was Feast Of The Winter Solstice it seemed like only a few weeks. I had become friends with Sonia and Laurence. Sonia discovered that she was a Shapeshifter which was very exciting. As the months passed by I hated Chemistry more and more, but I loved the look on the teachers face when he had noticed that I had gotten 100% at all my tasks.

In Mystic instead of any "mortal" holidays, we had the Feast Of The Winter Solstice. It was a large feast where everyone gave presents and held candles. Andromeda said that all the Mystic schools come together to talk about their mascots and ancestors. There are people with homemade jewelry and crystals trying to sell their goods, and obstacle courses for many different people. There are a lot of kids and adults there too. For me it was next week.

I was barely getting my thing in my bag when I heard a knock. I ran downstairs to find Laurence and Sonia. They yanked me away to Lawrence's house. I didn't know that Laurence salvaged dragons. When he open the gates, it was like the monarchy palace. In the front, there were 3 dragons.

"These are the dragons, you have to describe yourself to them so that they can trust you. They will answer any questions if they trust you and they will introduce themselves. They already know me." Laurence said. Sonia went first.

''I am a 14 year old girl. I invent many things and I love chemistry. I have darkish skin and blue eyes. I like to braid yarn into my hair. Everyone thinks I'm brave, smart, and nice. When I was born, the monarchy threaded sharp lozenbush thorns onto my throat, so now I have a deep gravelly voice. My mom lived on another Island. Over there there were beautiful wild animals and waterfalls. I was born there but I don't remember it a all. When I was 9 years old I got my thorns out. Everyone says it was a hard and long process but it succeeded. I got my thorns in over there. My mom never learned the name of the Island. Now, I really wished she did. I am also a shapeshifter. I can change into any form, real or made up. A tree or a animal, a character in a book or a rock. It has always been easy for me. I go to Odin Institute with my friends, Cassandra Darksmoke and Laurence Walters." Sonia said. We waited a couple of minutes and then the dragon said,

"My name is Puff", Puff the dragon said,"I am a sister to Twinkle, and everyone says I'm respected. I am a Wyvern." The dark green and blue dragon walked towards us.
