Chapter Sixteen

Hey guys this chapter has some blood and gore so you might want to skip to the end where I will explain what happened for people who don't want very in detail descriptions. There is also some  self harm, which is just part of the story, but if bens feelings are relatable please please talk with Someone, I love you guys and I don't want you guys to hurt. ❤️ thank you captaincassian for helping me figure out how to deal with this chapter in a supportive way. Ben's POV-
I have been looking for Rey for two days.
I can't find her anywhere.
I can feel her life slipping through my open fingers like sand, and I'm angry because I don't have enough power to close my fingers and keep her cupped in my hands.
I moan and sink down to my knees in the hallway.
I can't find her.
She's going to die because I couldn't save her.
I failed her.
I start to scream and pound my skull into the wall.
I failed her.
Im screaming her name now.
"REY!!!!!!"
"REEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY"
I failed her.

Rey's POV-
I'm startled out of my sleep of death by terrible noises. There's someone moaning in the hallway right outside my hiding spot. I use my sapping strength to drag myself across the floor to the crack. I peer out. It's Kylo. I gasp and pull back but then peer out again.
He's moaning on the floor. He's murmuring something that sounds like,
"I failed her I failed her I failed her."
He screams in agony then and starts slamming his skull into the wall and screaming,
"I FAILED HER I FAILED HER I FAILED HER!"
"REEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY"
I'm confused, but I'm so starved I can't think. I think it's not just the hunger that's killing me, but something else. I think my cuts are infected.
My. Cuts.
Thats it!
How exactly did I run away from Kylo in full uniform and then ten seconds later run smack into him looking totally different?
If someone was dressed up in his uniform.
And there's only one monster who would try to kill me while pretending they were the man I loved.
Hux.
I need to stop Ben from hurting himself!
I can't move though.
The sickness is overtaking my body.
I give it one last final try before I pass out.
"B-Ben." I croak with a gasp
The everything goes black.

Ben's POV-
I'm broken without her.
I'm having some kind of insane mental breakdown and I can't stop hurting myself.
But then I hear somthing.
"B-Ben."
And a- a hand flops out of the wall?
I rush over to the crack in the wall and I'm shocked to find that a kind of cavity was created when this wall fell apart.
I shimmy into the hole. As I crouch because the space is so small my eyes adjust and I look around.
There is blood and human waste and bile on the floor. The smell is of someone dying. I then see the small body in the corner. I flip it over.
It's Rey.
I moan in worry and look at her. The cuts all across her body are red and leaking puss and infection. The rest of her skin is papery and pale. Her face is sunken from illness and hunger and lack of sleep. Her hair and face and clothes are covered in the same stuff that's on the floor.
I Lift her up and I barely feel that I'm lifting anything at all. I shimmy out of the crack with her and run all the way to the med bay.
I'm not going to loose her.
As I set her down on a medical bed I'm shoved to the side by a team of medical persona that quickly bustle me out.
I touch my face and wince. I look at myself in the mirror. My face is swelling and purple and bloody. I go up to the front desk.
"Um excuse me can I get my face looked at?"
"Oh my goodness of course!" The little woman at the desk says. She turns to holler for someone and her antennae wave and swivel.
"A med bot will patch you up sir."
"Thank you." I say and I sit down as the med bot begins wrapping my head in bandages.
I'm so worried about Rey.

Hey guys, this is my note for the people who didn't want to read all the bad stuff in detail.
So basically Ben was self harming himself really badly over the fact that he couldn't find Rey, but Rey heard it all from her place in the wall where she was dying from her cuts getting infected and starvation, but she figured out that Ben wasn't trying to kill her, but it was Hux dressed up as Kylo so he could emotionally hurt Rey before killing her, but then Ben found her in the wall and took her to the med wing and then he got his face fixed up.
