Leslie's POV

•••••••••••••••••••••

Hi.

I'm Leslie.

I'm a 9 year old girl.

But there's something different

about me.

I have Cancer. Heart Cancer.

I have a mommy and a big sister

named Ashley.

I love both of them.

Mommy comes whenever she can.

She's a nurse.

Ashley.

I love her too.

With all my heart.

Even though my heart isn't

working right.

She takes care of me.

That's a lot of pressure for a 13

year old, no?

Oh! I almost forgot

I love Alex too.

But not that Iky love where people

kiss.

Eww. -.-

I'm too small for that.

He's just a year older than me.

Which means he's 10.

We joke around a lot on how my

home school teacher looks funny

on all of the silly dresses she wears.

He makes me forget about sad

things.

Like on Death.

At least I'm going to be with Daddy.

I love him too.

Even though he died when I was 5.

What a scary death he had.

Died in a car.

And guess who was with him?

Me.

"Leslie..." he once said out loud

while driving the car real fast.

"Oh no! The brake! it doesn't work.

Leslie you have your seat belt on,

right?" he asked quickly at me.

He looked at the wide mirror on top

of the car. I never understood what

was that for. To see if your hair was

okay, I guess.

Suddenly daddy said,

"I Love You"

Then

BOOM!!!

The glass exploded and the car hit

a big tree.

I slowly took out my seat belt and

crawled over to daddy.

He sat back at his seat with blood all

over his face.

From the top of his head, all the way

to his chin and down.

I slowly moved my hand from the

pain. While stroking Daddy's face,

tears ran down my cheek.

"Daddy..." I whispered desperately to

him. "Daddy, stop playing with me.

Wake up daddy. Please daddy, I

know your just sleeping and playing

with me that you died." I laughed

silently hoping he was playing

With both of my hands I

shook his head "Daddy-daddy-" and

now I began to sob "Daddy wake up,

daddy wake up, daddy wake up!

Daddy!!!''

Suddenly everything in my vision

started to go dark.

Blank.

and just like that, everything

dissapeared right before my eyes.
