Leslie's POV
So for the past days, everyone has been really nice to me
It's getting me really curious....
"So don't you think it's weird?" i tell Alex
"No. Their your family. What? you want them to ignore you or something?" he says
"No!" I say crossing my arms and giving him a frown "Man, Alex, I was just saying..."
He lowered his eyes on his spaghetti and meatballs mom has made for us while she was at work.
"Sorry..." he breathed
"Alright, alright, alright" I say in a cheerful tone, distracting us "lets not get too touchè about it"
He raised his head up high and smiled at me. I retured the favor to him.
"So you wanna go to the park?" he asked "When we finish our spaghetti, of course 'cause your mom makes the best spaghetti I have ever tasted!"
"There's no argument in that" i say picking up my fork
A few minutes later, me and Alex pickup the table and put our plates in the wash.
Alex goes upstairs to Ashley's room to ask permission. Man, they sure talk for a long time to ask permission. I even got so bored, i watched Sponge Bob on the couch
Yay, Sponge Bob! :)
You know what I thought weird about Sponge Bob? It's that his parents aren't actually cookies!
They look like Cookies! Right?
I figured all of this out when I was watching TV with Alex two years ago. Man, what a discovery...
Alex finally came downstairs just when i was about to fall asleep on the couch.
"Sorry, it took so long, Leslie" he says to me "I was just talking to Ashley about some things..."
I raised an eyebrow at him in confusion, but then shrugged it off.
He opened the front door to me and i was greeted with a blast of cool air. We walked down the porch and started walking the sidewalk.
We walked in a very awkard silence. I didn't even know why, was he upset because of something Ashley said to him?
It wasn't long cause the park was just a block away from my house.
The park was my favorite place to go when i need to get distracted at times. (well, except Mc Donalds) It brings joy to me. The swings were my favorite part.
I raced for the swings and swinged myself to a slow pace. Alex got to a swing next to me and we moved the swing pace faster. Eventually, I felt like i was soaring through the air.
"Like an Angel..." I muttered to myself
