Ah, love is in the air. Anne and Phillip are new newly-weds, enjoying the nice winter air. Phillip had surprised Anne with a grand white manor.
With the star-crossed lovers finally together, everything seemed perfect. Or that's what they though...
Author's Note: I felt bad not including the wedding day of the newly-weds, Anne and Phillip Carlyle. So here you go! Chapter one will be posted soon. Thank you all for being so patient. Enjoy this new roller coaster ride...! Also, during the moment when she walks down the aisle, I suggest you put on A Thousand Years which I posted above. If you really listen to the lyrics, it really foreshadows their conflict a little.
Anne woke up early the next morning by W.D and Lettie, who both looked anxious and excited.
"Wha...?"
"Get up you lousy bum!" W.D said angrily, pushing her out of bed to measure her waist size. "We need to buy your wedding dress, and your bouquet, and your–"
"But it's five thirty in the morning! The reception doesn't start until later at twelve!" Anne whined, scratching her head in annoyance as she slipped on a robe.
"Hurry and dress up," Lettie ordered, her face showing nothing but determination. "We're going to buy you the best wedding dress ever. Also, do you want people from the press to arrive? Of course, that's entirely up to you."
"I don't want the press," Anne answered back, putting on a coat. It was finally wintertime, three weeks until Christmas. Anne always loved the winter. She was glad her wedding day would be on her favorite holiday. "I just want the rest of the oddities and Phillip's family members to be there."
Anne swallowed hard. Phillip's parents approved of her, but what about his grandparents, his cousins, everyone else that's important to him? She wiped the thought out of her mind. Today is your wedding, Anne thought.

Lettie swung the door of Jannet's Bridals, causing the receptionist to jump. For a few moments, the beautiful fair-toned woman looked at her in disgust being sticking their nose up in the air and ignoring them. Anne gave them a sour look, no one does that to her friend. Was that what Phillip's family would do to her, shoot sour looks at her like what they did to Lettie?
"My, my," The receptionist said, her eyes wide. "Welcome to Jannet's Bridals! How may I help you today?"
"We're looking for a wedding dress," Lettie answered quickly, looking around the tiny shop in awe at the many different fashions.
"Okay then," The lady said brightly, looking directly at Anne up and down. "You can choose one of our premade fashions, or create your own."
"Actually, I'd like that one," Anne said, looking at the thick and sparkling white wedding gown on display. The receptionist's eyes twinkled with excitement. "Up there."
"Why, that's one of a kind. Perfect for such a beautiful young woman like you." The receptionist said, clasping her hands together. "And it looks like your size. Darling, let's go try it on, shall we?"
*Since this story takes place near the early 1800's, I wanted the dress to look beautiful, but still match the timescale. I hope you all like it as much as I do. The picture down below if my idea of her wedding dress. It's the girl in the front with the lace, by the way.*
