Anne placed her hands on Phillip's as the crowd clapped, they bowed as Phillip led her off stage. She felt a wave of things as her smile faltered. Her head throbbed as she rubbed her temples. "I'm going to go change."
"Are you okay?" Phillip asked with uncertainty, holding her weight as she leaned on him for support.
"I'm okay, a bit dizzy is all." Anne insisted, pushing herself away from him as she walked to the dressing room. Her head a pulsing and her body called for rest. She's never felt this wat before. She slipped back into her normal clothes, running into the restroom as soon as bile shot up her throat. She washed her face and headed out the door, greeted by Phillip. "I think I'll stay home tonight. I might be coming up with a fever."
"Okay," Phillip said, heaving out a great sigh as he placed a hand on her waist and pulling her up into the automobile.
Anne's head pulsed as she jumped out of the automobile, rushing into bed, enjoying the comfort of the beautiful Christmas decorations they set up together. It was down to two days until Christmas. And she was ill, she let out a sigh that ended up being a groan as Phillip closed the Christmas curtains shut and siding on the edge of the bed, gently stroking Anne's hot cheek.
"You're burning up," Phillip frowned, tilting his head. "What happened to you?"
"I don't know," Anne said sharply, her head throbbing. "I'm not coughing or anything. I just feel flushed from all the choreography. I'll walk to the hospital tomorrow."
"In the meantime," Phillip said, straightening himself up. "I'll go make you dinner. Pot roast, your favorite."
"You don't need to do that," Anne insisted. "You've already done enough."
"I intend on taking care of you tonight," Phillip replied from downstairs. "In sickness and in health, remember?"

Phillip buttoned up his ringmaster suit, putting on Barnum's famous top hat. Anne woke up, searching the bed for him only to see him already dressed.
"Ready for your appointment?" Phillip asked, winking at her as he kissed her cheek for good morning.
"Just drop me off and I'll be on my way," Anne replied, stumbling as she got to her feet. She was weirdly hungry for bananas. "Darling, do we have bananas in the refrigerator?"
Phillip gave her a perplexing look. "Bananas? I believe so, let me go check."
Anne dressed in casual pants and a coat, tying her hair up as she walked stiffly down the stairs. Phillip had unpeeled her a banana, having already taken a bite out of it. Anne frowned, snatching the banana away from him as she munched on it.
It took them ten minutes to get the hospital. Phillip lightly kissed her on the forehead. "Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?"
"I'll be fine," Anne assured him with a smile, she clutched her bag and walked off. "I'll see you later tonight."
Phillip winked, driving off as Anne walked up the steps to the hospital.

"So, you've vomited twice now, you have terrible headaches in the morning, and your face gets heated up?" The doctor asked, marking things off his clipboard.
"Yes, doctor," Anne replied immediately, rubbing her temple.
"Miss Carlyle," The doctor began, looking down at her. "Have you had any cravings lately?"
Anne thought about that question for a moment. "As a matter a fact, I have, doctor."
The doctor placed his clipboard on the countertop, leaning on the desk with a smile. "Then congratulations. You're pregnant."
