Disclaimer: THE BABY REVEAL! Get ready for it...!
"I told you not to touch them!" Phillip scowled, yanking his socks and underwear away from Mrs. Carlyle."Who do you expect to fold them?" Mrs. Carlyle snapped, her hands on her hips. "You? You can barely fold slacks!"
Phillip cursed himself, storming back inside as he pinned his clothing onto the string. Mr. Carlyle had already made breakfast as Anne descended from the staircase.
"Good morning." Anne kissed his cheek, looking ravenously at the blueberry pancakes laying on the table.
"Good morning," Phillip muttered, sitting next to her as Mrs. Carlyle shut the back door. "If you want them around, fine. But why did you agree for them to stay here?"
"Oh come on Phillip," Anne rolled her eyes playfully. "They're your parents, our child is going to want to see it's grandchildren."
Anne was now two weeks pregnant, and Phillip already appointed her an ultrasound for this afternoon. This was going to determine their child's gender. Mrs. Carlyle was beyond excited, insisting on tagging along as Mr. Carlyle stuck around him the house grumpily.
Anne finished her breakfast, letting out a loud groan as her back pain acted up and her morning sickness began, she waddles over to the bathroom. Phillip tossed the plates into the sink, rinsing them.
"Here," Mr. Carlyle began, walking towards him. "Let me do it."
Phillip stared hard at him, removing his hands from the plates and rinsing his hands. He still did not find it in his heart to forgive them for the disgusting words they threw at his wife, but he stuck with it for Anne. He dried off his hands, staring at his watch.
Phillip walked up the stairs, opening the door to their room as he looked at Anne who had fallen back asleep. He sat by her side of the bed, pulling the hair out of her face. "Time for your appointment."
Anne groaned, her back ached and her head spun. Nonetheless, they longed for this moment to occur. She got out of bed, letting out a loud yawn. Phillip took her by the waist and helped her undress.
Phillip slipped her into a loose and flexible shirt with pants. Anne slipped her hand under Phillip's arms as they made their way towards the automobile, where Mrs. Carlyle had already walked into. Phillip shook his head and chuckled, hovering Anne up into the automobile and starting the engine.

Once Anne seated herself into the hospital bed, she grabbed Phillip's hand sternly. The doctor revealed her flat stomach, putting on a layer of cold gel, causing her to shudder.
The monitor started acting up, Anne squeezed Phillip's hands, her legs trembling with anticipation and anxiety. Ever since that day on the hospital, she couldn't bear to see her child. What if something's happened to it? Will the ultrasound disrupt its growth? Anne blocked those questions away from her as she glanced at Mrs. Carlyle, who was as scared as she was.
Anne sucked in a deep breath, letting out the worry and guilt she felt toward her child. The doctor rubbed around the gel, searching for a proper spot.
Just then, the monitor's lights blinked, and it revealed the tiniest ball with small fists, still evolving into something greater. Anne cupped her mouth with her free hand. Phillip gasped, Mrs. Carlyle let out a sigh of relief.
The doctor smiled. "That's your little baby." Anne listened intently at the loud sound waves the ultrasound was projecting. Whatever gender it was, Anne was going to love it.
She looked up at Phillip, beaming. Phillip's heart was pounding through his chest, he smiled back at her, squeezing her hands lightly. "It looks like...a peanut."
Mrs. Carlyle chuckled along with Anne. He really was nervous. Anne kissed him on the cheek. "This is so exciting!"
The doctors eyes furrowed as he rubbed around the gel, his eyes crinkling into a genuine smiled. He removed his gloves, rinsing them as he removing his mask.
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle. The baby is a–"
"WAIT!" W.D came rushing into the room, his eyes wild and his mouth twitching. "I'm not missing this! I will absolutely not."
Wide-eyed, Anne gaped at him. She wanted to be angry at him for interrupting her and Phillip's moment, but she couldn't help but smile. She would've loved for her older brother to watch this exciting moment.
The doctor cleared his throat. "As I was saying, the baby is a..."
