That game was good. I like the fact that Nigel was the kind of guy that didn't go easy on me. He treated me equally and I couldn't help but love him so much for that. He was a great friend.
We were currently walking down the path back to our dorm to take showers. I felt so sticky and dirty. Nigel and I were joking about who smelt worse. Obviously it was him but he was dead set on it being me.
"You smell like the stagnant river we drove pass on the first day. I'd like to see you beat that Nigel." The river smelt awful, the most pungent sent I've smelt in all my life.
"Oh really? You smell just like me." He said pulling me into his side.
"Nigel no. I really do smell like you. I need to take a really long shower now." This is what I love. I felt so carefree and happy. I'm glad I could have a friend like this.
"Now I smell like you. That only means we smell like each other and no one wins." I'm sorry but I had to laugh at his logics. He joined in on it too. We were too childish for college but I didn't care.
We were having so much fun that our walk back seemed really short. He gave me a side hug before going to his room. I wasted no time to go to the shower, I really needed a good scrub.
40 minute later my shower was finished. A new person is the perfect description of what I felt. I got dressed in some black sweats and a long sleeve tee. Nothing is good like comfort.
I plopped down in my bed and started making angels. A laugh pulled me out of my moment of madness.
"Nigel! Come make angels with me." don't deny the craziness just embrace it. Life is better that way. Nigel laughed at me and took pictures of me and my goofiness before laying on my bed.
"You do know I can't do that. Your bed is too tiny for the both of us to make angels." Urg! These campuses and their tiny beds although mine is a double.
"I miss my old bed. We could definitely make bed angels." I said propping up on my elbows.
I took the time to scan over his body. He was wearing some dark grey sweatpants that hung low. When he laid down on my bed it pulled up his white body hugging tee that exposed those nice abs of his.
"I missed it too. So I have a question for you." still propped on my elbows I told him to shoot. "You know thanksgiving break is coming up. Do you have any important plans?"
Josh didn't say anything about thanksgiving. I'm guessing he will probably fly back to Cali to visit his family. He didn't ask me if I wanted to come either. My parents are going on a trip. Angel has a class trip and Kristen and the twins are going out. So I don't have anything planned.
"No my parents are going on a business trip."
"Great. Why don't you come with me to London for the week?" How can I say no. I loved travelling and my parents are busy. My boyfriend didn't tell me about his plans. There is only one answer.
"Yes! Of course I can't wait." I was so excited about the whole trip that I straddled Nigel while hugging him. He hugged me back.
"Great. I already booked a hotel and my jet will carry us."
"Please tell me you got a good hotel that has a view of big ben."
"Do you really have to ask?" I just hugged him again. I've never vacationed in London. I've stopped there to switch planes or short business with my parents but never really stayed to explore.
I was so comfortable in Nigel's arms that I didn't realized someone was standing in my door frame. I only pulled away to look when the person cleared their throat.
