Sienna's POV
This bed feels so good. I rolled over onto my back as I opened my eyes. The London sun shining through the windows. This is the life. I looked over to the side where Nigel should've been and realized it was untouched. He never came to bed. Slowly I left the bed pulling down my shirt which had rolled up to my chest.
Where is he? Why didn't he come to bed?
I went to the living room. He was wearing nothing but sweatpants passed out on the couch. It reminded me of our times when my parents weren't home.
Flashback:
We were in my room studying and listening to music. We had a Chemistry quiz the next day and I was freaking out. It wasn't really a strong area for me. Luckily I had Nigel, he may not look like he cared about school but he was brilliant. I envied how much he didn't have to try to get his solid A's. However, he was patient with me. I had given up for the night and ready to throw in the towel. My brain had had enough of 1/2 reactions and chemical equations.
"Thanks for the help Nigel but my brain can't go on. I'm calling it." He laughed at my statement and closed his textbooks before taking mine away from me.
"When are your parents coming home?"
"They'll be back this weekend." They were in the city for three day. It was normal. They spent four day working from home and three days in the city. They did their best and I appreciated them for it.
"Will you be okay by yourself?" I'm used to it.
"I will be." He gave me that look that said I don't believe you. "I'm a big girl Nigel and Angel lives across the street."
"If you say so." He was teasing me. He stood up from his chair. I examined his tall frame, clothed in a pair of sweatpants and a tight white shirt that showed off his very distracting abs and arms. I swear this guy was carved by God himself but I can't think like this. We are friends and that's it.
"Well I'm going to go. Be safe and call me if anything goes wrong." I nod my head and watched as he went towards the door.
"Wait!" My mouth decided to leave my brain out and before I can stop myself, " Will you stay?" This was the first time Nigel stayed over. I wasn't sure why I asked him to. We'd become great friends a month after I started school.
He turned away from the door and sat back on the chair. "Okay." Just like that he agreed.
"Are you sure though?"
"What are friends for?" I'm happy he was staying but I felt slightest bit of hurt, not really sure how I felt about us just being friends.
"You can share my bed if you want." I moved over to give him space to lay. I watched as he removed his shoes and placed them neatly in the corner and took off his shirt. Yes I said it, he took off his shirt. My eyes couldn't help but stare at his well defined upper body. Just friends... I'm going to need some help because I doubt I will be able to sleep knowing he's next to me.
He climbed into bed next to me. Laying on his back. I wasn't sleepy at all.
I looked at the clock in my beside table. It was after 10.
"Wanna watch TV?" He looked over at me and I saw something flash across his eyes. Then the biggest smile spread across his lips which made my heart skip a beat. I'm in trouble.
"Sure. What are we watching?" I let out a small chuckle before I turned on Underworld.
Present:
The thoughts of that night placed a smile on my face as I watch him sleep on the couch. I walked around to sit on the table in front of him. I brushed his dark hair out of his face. My actions causing him to shift.
