Chapter 15: Angel I Can't

Nigel's POV

After Josh had walked in I knew he was not liking the sight. I understand where he is coming from. Which guy would want to walk in on his girlfriend with another guy. Although, to be fair we were just friends and it sucked. Sienna was just such a great person that I would feel guilty if I denied her the opportunity to fix things with Josh.

I wish I was selfish but for Sienna I couldn't help being selfless. The man that she deserves. Hopefully the man I can be for her. I watched as she left the room to go after Josh. That bastard was lucky while I on the other hand was anything but.

After calming myself down I made my way into Angel's room. We had talked earlier about Sienna's decision. Scratch that, Angel nearly bite my ear off for letting it happen. I can't stop Sienna from choosing him and if I could've I would. My subconscious is yelling at me calling me out on being a huge wuss and I was. That bad boy from high school did not exist when it came to Sienna. I knew I was screwed and I'll forever be unless I man up.

I barged into Angels room unannounced and laid face down on her bed.

"Sure. Come on in. Make yourself comfortable and take my bed." She could be so sarcastic at times. She swivelled around in her chair. "What's wrong Nigel?"

"I asked her." I knew Angel had questions, it would be out of character if she didn't. "I know you have questions so before you explode go ahead and ask them."

"Did she say no? Is it why you're so sad? If she did say no, I can slap some sense into her? Did Josh say something to her? God I want to kick him in the knee." I couldn't help but laugh after hearing the last sentence. I would love to see her tiny 5'3 frame kick Josh who is 6'1.

"You kill me Angel. No she said yes and I'm not sad. It's just that she was on top of me in her bed and he just went straight to being possessive and thinking the worst. I know I love her but I was not going to ruin her relationship. I'm not going to be that guy." From the time I've spent and got to know Sienna I knew she wasn't a fan of cheating. I respect that about her because I do not cheat. That's why I had to break it off with the girl I was dating when we started Uni. The stories were true, she didn't know how to keep it in her pants. Glad I never brought her to bed.

"God I hate him. He is ruining my plans. You guys are supposed to date and then have kids. And I'll finally get to be a godmother and you guys will name them after me." At that my laughter was uncontrollable she was thinking way way into the future now. I was just a freshman and without the girl. She was talking about marriage and kids and she was being serious.

"Angel calm down. I think you have more riding on this and its my life."

"But bu-"

"No buts. Haven't you ever heard that if you love something let it go and if it is yours it'll come back to you. If she is mine then you'll get your godchildren and wedding, for now we are young. There is still a lot of time."

"Fine. You were always the smart and calm one of the two."

"Something we can agree on." I've known Angel since diaper days. She was like the sister I never had and always wanted. Instead I got a brother who isn't half bad. But he just joined high school.

"Shut up. I hate you sometimes. I hope you know that." I just continued to laugh.

"At least you made me forget my anger. So what are you doing today?"

"I told Sienna I was studying but to be honest I can't. Its boring so I was just going to grab my cameras and go out and take pictures. Then I might try to convince myself to go to the gym but I'll opt out and eat ice cream and watch Netflix."
