Surprisingly someone actually requested something so here you go. Hope you enjoy.

Oof, pretend you guys are in high school for this one :)

"1:47"
Mat read the time aloud.

The poor boy sat in his house bouncing his leg up and down, worried and unsure of what to do. It was Thursday- no, Friday morning now, and his younger sister was still out on her date with his friend. One of his best friends actually. Nate Smith. As soon as Mat and his younger sister, Y/n moved out to LA with the rest of their family, they all grew close.

As time passed, obviously his sister and Nate grew closer. So tonight they were out on a date. Out, nearly at 2am. After distinctly being told to be back at 11.

A sigh left the boy's lips and he tried to dial his sister again.

Waiting.
Waiting.
Waiting.

And, voicemail.

"Just like the last eight times" Mat said in an annoyed voice, tossing his phone onto the couch. He didn't even bother calling Nate again. He knew he would just get the same thing. Once more he checked the time.

"1:53"

That was the last time he checked.

Despite wanting to wait for his sibling, his body got the better if him and he fell into a deep slumber.

Even in an unconscious state, Mat was able to tell when she was finally back.

Well, mainly because of the jingle if her keys was so loud and the bright headlights of Nate's car were shining in through the window. He quickly wiped his tired eyes and ran over to the door. He unlocked it and on the other side he saw Y/n and Nate, both obviously surprised.

He couldn't even attempt to force a smile. Once more he brought out his phone.

"2:51"

He said in a gruff voice. The couple outside the door didn't speak. They wouldn't dare try to say anything at this point.

Mat brought a hand up to his head and repeated himself, frustration more prominent this time.

"You come back here, with my younger sister, at two fifty one am."

Once again the boy was met with no response. And this just caused him to grow more frustrated with them.

He stepped out of the door and led
Y/n inside. And still up to this point no words had been exchanged from the other party.

"Thanks for dropping her off." Mat said, back facing his friend before he abruptly closed the door.

Y/n stood in her home eyes locked into the floor. She still couldn't find the words that wouldn't set off her brother.

"Y/n," she looked up at the harsh sound of her brother's voice. Mat stood with his arms crossed, obviously fuming with anger.
