Zuko lets go then follows Katara to meet up with Jet. "I understand not trusting Jet because I agree with him. I also see why he doesn't trust me but it takes time to earn trust."

"Don't say that you know Sokka is just being overprotective. You haven't hurt me and you've had multiple chances to. Let's go look at the reservoir." Katara turns away and leaves with Zuko trailing her. Jet, Zuko, and Katara walk to the reservoir in silence. Anytime Jet got too close to Katara, in Zuko's opinion, Zuko trips or drops something. Katara is nice and helps him up or picks up his things and Zuko inconspicuously smirks. They get to the reservoir and Jet pulls Katara over to a cliff that overlooks the small town.

"See that town over there, they are currently overrun with dirty fire nation soldiers. Right now the water is really low, see that indent over there that was a the end of a river but now it's dry. The soldiers are getting plenty of water for themselves and the townspeople but they are being overcharged. I was hoping that you and Aang would be willing to draw water out of the vents so that the people can come up here to get water." Katara nodds.

"I will go back and get Aang." She starts to leave when Jets hand grabs her arm.

"Why don't you start and Lee and I will head back and send Aang out this way. When you are done, you guys can meet me back at the camp. I am going to try and deliver food to the townspeople." Zuko looks at Katara from the corner of his eyes then responds,

"Actually Jet, I am going to stay here and keep Katara company." Jet leaves.

"I can handle being by myself for a couple minutes. You don't have to stay here." Katara tells Zuko as she starts water bending.

"Do you think that wasn't quite right? If the people really can't even get water then the could leave. The Fire Nation isn't forcing people to stay there, if the townspeople were really getting mistreated then they should be able to leave. Also how is Jet going to sneak in with food and give it out without attracting the soldier's attention?" Zuko mused aloud. Katara ignores him and continues to work. A few hours later Aang and Katara have finished and they start walking back to the camp. Katara looks conflicted but with a look of determination she addresses Aang and Zuko.

"I am going to go down to the town and see if Jet needs help. It's so nice of him to risk his own safety to help this town."

"I gave up my comfort, title, wealth, and more because you convinced me that it was the right thing. I never got you swooning over me for that." Zuko mumbles which causes Katara to turn to look at him.

"Did you say something?" Katara questions and Zuko shakes his head no. As Katara is walking she hears a loud boom, she rushes to the cliffside and sees the dam breaking and all the water rushing towards the town. Then Zuko appears next to her. "What about all those people." Katara asks as she turns to Zuko with tears in her eyes.

"Let's just hope that they got out in time." They start to run towards the town to see if there was anyone they could help. Sokka speaks from behind them.

"There's no one you can help down there, they are all here. I told you I didn't trust Jet." Katara whips around and sees all the people including the Fire Nation soldiers. She immediately starts to worry about them recognizing Zuko. When she turns back around she sees that he has moved his hair to mostly hide his scar. "C'mon Aang, Katara, and Lee, we need to get our stuff and leave."
