Hunt XIII: Bonding

I am awoken by the sound of my phone ringing. I look at it to see who it was.

"Hello, this Majus speaking."

"Hello Vexillo, do you know who this is or better question do you remember who this is."

"Well, of course, I know who this is, you know my name."

"Oh that's great you remember me, and can I come over for Christmas? I want to see my daughter." the woman asks.

"Sure I don't mind at all, I think Snap Dragon would love to see you," Majus says to her.

"Antirrhinum is back home already, I thought she was still on her mission," she replies.

"She finished early when she found out Rose was going to be here," he says to her.

"Rose is there too, well I can't wait to see both of them." She says.

"That's good to hear, can't wait to see you," he says to her.

"Oh yeah, she'll be coming as well, see you in a few days."

Majus pauses for a moment before responding.

"And Vexillo, take it easy on the drinking ok, bye," she said as she hung up. 

"Well guess I should get ready."

-Later that day-

"Mom's coming home to visit?" Rose and SnapDragon say together.

"Yeah, she said she wanted to see you girls," he says.

"Well that's great, I wanted to see mom to it's been a while," SnapDragon says. 

SnapDragon then looks at Rose to see her with a rather sad face.

"Is she coming dad you know," she says slightly shifting her eyes towards Rose.

"Yeah, she'll be here to Rosebud." He says patting Rose's head.

-Christmas Eve night-

Rose and Yucca were preparing to take a bath then, Yucca stopped in her tracks and confronted her.

"Rose, who's your mom?"  Yucca asks her.

"She's a mom, she left a long time ago and no Yucca she didn't teach me how to use a Scythe I learned how to fight from  Snap Dragons mom and my dad's brother," Rose says to her.

"Well I can't wait to meet her," Yucca says. 

"Same it's been nearly a decade since we last meet, hope she still remembers me," Rose said. 

"Well, everything will be fine now let's go take a bath," Yucca says as she pushes Rose towards the door.

"Antirrhinum, get out of the bathroom, you too Alcea." Yucca and Rose say together.

-Christmas Day-

Yucca was helping Majus Finish the rest cooking, Snap Dragon and Alcea were setting the table, and Rose was waiting for her and Snap Dragons mom's to show up. 

Where are you, why aren't you here? Rose thinks to herself.

Suddenly the doorbell rings and she rushes towards the door.

"Hey Rose where's your sister?" Antirhinum's mom asks her.

"she's in the dining room." she points over towards the archway leading into the dining room.

She walks in and gives her a hug then goes to SnapDragon. Rose begins to close the door and was stopped.

"It's been a while hasn't Rose."

"Yes it hasn't mom, you wanna come in?"

Yucca then looks around the corner and see's Rose talking to a woman who could possibly be her mother.

"Rose dinner's ready and is that your mom?" She asks her.

"My name is Rosa Sericea, nice to meet you."

"Yucca, same here."

They all joined each other and ate dinner together. Later they gathered in the living room and talked to each other, and told each other stories about their life's, school, and missions they went on.

"So how did you meet Majus Rosa?" Yucca asks

"School, me and Eden dated for a while. Then he and Orchid dated shortly after," Rosa said.

"And After that Antirrhinum was born, Orchid and I were very busy so Rosa stepped on to help raise her." Majus jumps in.

"Then he slept with Rosa and when she found out she was pregnant, he married her and they played house until Rose was born, then she left him." a rather drunk Orchid chimed.

Rosa stood up and slapped Orchid, which made the whole room turn silent.
