It's been about a week since that talk with the headmaster happened, and my suspension. I've been at home getting tutored by Iris, and waiting for Yucca to get out of the hospital.
"Rose, where are you? You have a phone call."
"ok, dad."
I wonder who would be calling me so early? I climb back through the window that leads into my room then I walked out of my room and down the stairs.
"Someone from the hospital is calling you."
He hands me the phone, then walks into the kitchen.
"Hello, this is Rose."
"Hello, Ms. Rose we're calling to inform you that Ms. Yucca has been cleared from the hospital today and is ready to be picked up."
"Thank you, I'll be there shortly," I say to her.
I tried my best to control my excitement, but failed, letting out a loud shout of joy as I hung up the phone. I went to the kitchen where my dad was and told him that I was going to pick up Yucca from the hospital. He then asked me if I needed to go get any of her stuff from our dorm; I told him I had already grabbed most of her essential things. He told me to be safe and waved goodbye as I left the house.
I took one of the trams to the hospital where Yucca was at. I told one of the workers I had come to check out Yucca from the hospital, she cleared me to go ahead and gave me a pass to do so.
I had to contain my urge to run to her room. I walked down the hallway where Yucca's room was ad entered. She was wearing a white hospital gown. I closed the door behind me and hugged Yucca from behind.
"Rose!" yucca said surprised.
"Yucca, I got a call today saying it was ok to take you home now," I say to her in an exciting manner.
She smiled at me, then I released her from my hug. Yucca then went to the other side of the room to change, she had put on some clothes I had brought for her; a pair of gray boots, baby blue skinny jeans, a white blouse and one of my black jackets. I walked towards her and zipped up her jacket.
"It's supposed to be getting kinda cold later," I say to her.
She smiled at me then leans in to kiss me.
"I love you Rose," she says.
"I love you too Yucca."
