Hunt V: Family

After Yucca and I were cleared from the hospital, we headed back to the campus of our school. We were greeted by a few of the students who are friends of ours. 

there were the two seniors; Jamie and Sunni, a junior named Iris, and a girl who's a friend of my sister; her name is Alcea. 

"Hey Alcea, how's Snapdragon doing?"

 "You mean Antirrhinum, she's fine. She said that if she doesn't make it back before winter break to tell dad she said hey."

Alcea then gives a letter from her sister and walks away after hugging both Rose and Yucca. 

Iris then hands both Rose and Yucca their notes she took for them while they were in the hospital.

"Thanks, Iris you didn't have to do this, what about your classes?"

"Don't worry yourselves about that, I've already finished up with all my assignments."

Iris smiled at Yucca and me, she then says goodbye then walks back to the campus. 

The two seniors then talked to us for a little bit; making sure we were ok, telling us how good it was to have us back, etc. Then they waved goodbye and headed off-campus. 

"So Rose you ready to start preparing for our exams?"

"Can I sleep first? I'm still kinda tired you know?"

Yucca grabs my hand and leads me to our dorm. It doesn't take us long to get to our dorm, Yucca opens our room door. Everything looked the same, which meant no one was in here. Yucca lets go of my hand, and I head straight for my bed, flopping on top of it. 

"Oh, soft bed how I've missed you so."

Yucca takes out her books and begins to study. 

I looked over at Yucca, maybe I should study for Yucca's sake. I take out the notes that Iris gave us, and walk over to Yucca's bed and begin to study. Yucca looks over at me from her desk and smiles a little.

I knew Rose would come around, she's a really good student when she tries. she also looks so cute when she's studying.

After about an hour of studying Yucca gets up from her desk and stretches, then she sits next to Rose.

"So Rose, what's your family like?"

Rose looks up at Yucca then begins talking.

"My family is pretty normal, it's just me, my sister, and dad." 

"What about your mom?"

"She left when I was about 2 or 3 years old, I didn't know her that much about her. She went to this school though and she used a scythe just like I do."

"I'm sorry Rose, you must have been sad about that."

"I was, but my sister told that she died to make sure we were safe. So I shouldn't get sad over it."

yucca brushed Rose's hair out of the way of her face. she was looking at Rose's eye's they were some somewhat sadden, but she didn't cry she still had her strong resolved look. 

"rose, you're so strong way stronger than I am."

"Yucca," Rose said as she placed her hand on her cheek and lightly turned her face so she could look into her eyes. 

They both leaned towards each other as the two kissed each other.
