A/N: For the last part, this will be on third person view. Please check out the note I left below after this. Thanks and enjoy!

One, the crowd cheering relentlessly as the most expected skater to be on the 2022 Winter Olympics finally enter the ice for his last battle. He held that confident, composed smile that warmed everyone on the rink. And despite the incredible pressure for being the last contender to perform in the Free Skate, Yuzuru still kept his composure and stayed focused.
It was the man's last chance to give a good fight after his unclean short program. The last chance to achieve his remaining dreams before he finally end his journey in competitive skating.
Two, gliding through the ice towards the center, he took one last glance at the boards where this time, he dedicates his skate for a special someone. They instantly locked eyes among the sea of crowd and released an endearing smile to each other. Yuzuru gave a firm nod as to tell them he had gathered all the courage from the people who came to support him.
Then it was finally time to show everyone he still got it.
Three, a spectacular finish made the crowd jump up to their seats while waving Japanese flags to the man who just made history for the last competition of his career.
And then it started to rain of his infamous, yellow bear companion.
It looked like flashes of golden light twinkling down the ice, at least similar to a waterfall in Yuzuru's perspective. His tears continued to block his vision as he knelt on the cold surface, head hung down with his right index finger pointed up to the sky.
Everyone shared the same emotions as his. Grateful, happy, contented, and proud. There was no single spectator who wasn't moved by his performance. He had given everything he could offer to make up for everything he hadn't done at his Short Program, and for the last couple months.
Yuzuru stood up with a genuine smile on his face, not minding how much of a mess he looks at that moment because of those bawling eyes that just wouldn't stop. He bowed deeply at every corner of the arena, each taking a couple of seconds longer to show his gratitude to everyone.
A couple of comforting arms were already waiting for him at the borders, owned by his coaches and the person he dedicated his whole performance to.
Sena.
Four, "It's amazing of what love can do to a man."
The media bombarded him with questions he was already expecting to hear. Since the results came in and Yuzuru just became the 3x Winter Olympic Champion and also the first ever man in history to officially land the Quadruple Axel in a competition, his day turned out to be the most busiest one he had ever been.
"I didn't know love will be my main source of energy to fuel me up in my last Olympics. Not until I met her, that is."
The familiar sound of clicking from every reporter's camera echoed in the conference room. Yuzuru gathered his thoughts carefully before forming them into words.
"In Sochi, I dedicated my gold medal to the people in Sendai and all the victims of the Tohoku earthquake."
The 2014 Winter Olympic win is to give people hope. A win that helped people rise again from the great disaster that had broken them once.
"In PyeongChang, the gold medal was to redeem and repay myself from all the hard work and sacrifices made."
It was his long-awaited comeback at 2018 after gaining an injury that decreased his capabilities and chances to compete in the whole 2017-2018 season.
"And in Beijing..."
Yuzuru searched for a familiar set of almond eyes he missed. He instantly released a smile when his eyes landed on it.
"...this win, this gold medal, is for the woman I love. The one that gave me the last push I needed when I thought my world was starting to fall apart."
Five, he knelt on one knee while taking a royal blue box from his pocket. Yuzuru looked at Sena with passion burning in his eyes. He had never been this ready to enter a new chapter of his life with the woman he loves and cherishes.
"Are you willing to spend the rest of your lives with someone unworthy of your love?"
Sena choked on her words. Yuzuru waited patiently.
"Yes. I do. Who can even resist to you?"
His face lit up like a thousand fireworks in the sky. Yuzuru took Sena in his arms -- an indication of a seal to their promise of love as they go hand by hand against all odds.
It was Yuzuru's aftermath, and he couldn't start the beginning of the new chapter of his life without Sena in it.•••
A/N: Heya!
Okay, so this ending has been the most cheesiest ending I've written so far and it's disappointingly short, I know. I kinda' run out of ideas for the last part because exams week happened at the same time Winter Olympics did. Couldn't squeeze anything out from my brain anymore since it's practically drained...
But anyway, thank you very much for reading Aftermath! I hope you enjoyed it. It was a real pleasure (although a pain in the ass) to write so I'm very glad it finally ended. I'm currently working on some new and better stuff for you guys so no worries ;)
See you soon on the next Yuzu oneshot. Ciao~!
