A/N: Heya! After an awful long time of not updating, I'm finally back and alive!

This oneshot is dedicated to @MaliksMalika for the awesome request! I honestly felt so bad for only writing this now. I was just really caught up with life and unfortunately took me time to bounce back. :(

BUT! I'm now pumped up after writing this and I'm glad I now have time to do what I love again-- thank you so much for the request and so so sorry for the delay!

Hope y'all enjoy! :)

Ever since they were forced to enter this kind of relationship, their life suddenly turned a whole 360°.

"Hey, are you done yet?"

Aria from across the room, asked as she continued editing pictures in her computer. It was the deadline today and she had to pass it to the media company along with her written articles.

Getting married with a top-class athlete while being in the sports media; it all still seemed too unreal to Aria even now. In another person's perspective, it's like hitting two birds with one stone.

But it was completely different in their case, of course.

"Just a sec!"

With Yuzuru's short reply, Aria sensed that he was having another hard time with something he was doing, which she's now grown accustomed to. So she stepped away from her work as soon as she finished it and went towards the other room where he was preparing.

Sneaking to his room and leaning her back towards the door; Aria found her hunch to be right. Yuzuru was definitely having a hard time with his neck tie.

"Need help?" Her voice made Yuzuru turn around and feel flustered. "Yeah."

Aria walked towards him and stopped, a few centimeters apart from each other. Yuzuru looked like he was a deer caught in act. The silly thought made Aria smile and it made him return it sheepishly.

"We'll be late for your conference, you know." Aria said as she took his neck tie looking like a mess. It's like a child had tried to do his knot, she thought.

Yuzuru chuckled lightly, still embarrassed that he couldn't get the knot tying right after all the effort her wife has put into teaching him countless times.

She patted down his navy blue suit after finishing it in a blink. He caught a glimpse of himsef in the mirror, smiling at her work. "Thank you." Aria sighed with the remark and looked at him with an acting, disappointed face.

"Jeez, Yuzu. What'll you do if I'm not always here to take care of you?" Aria faked nag as she crossed her arms. She always loved teasing Yuzuru for being such a child sometimes. It was entertaining for her, but a way for him on the other hand to showcase his charms by doing his loving comebacks everytime--or as how he describe it.

"I'm just going to make sure you'll always be here then." Her husband cheekily replied after placing a soft kiss on her forehead. This time, Aria was the one who got flustered.

"Always getting on with your ways." Aria mumbled which Yuzuru fortunately heard. He chuckled and gently squeezed her with a hug.

It was 8 years ago when the both of them got married without having personal or romantic ties with each other. And all those years weren't that easy to cope with.

All of it started when their clans, the Hanyu and Akhari, agreed to marry off their only child, thinking it was the best for them mainly because they want to keep tradition alive.

The families decided this for the reason that they didn't want their child to grow up lonely and tied up to their careers. After a couple of dates that they've set up for Yuzuru and Aria -- the clans finally held a traditional ceremony to marry them off legally. And it all happened in just 5 months.

The two knew it was for their own sake, but they felt huge disappointment for having their feelings and opinions towards marriage disregarded. Yuzuru and Aria didn't have a choice but to put an act towards their families so they wouldn't be pestered anymore.

And although it was hard forcing to love each other starting from scratch when they're expected to be like husband and wife already, they built their relationship slowly and it has resulted greatly with time. After a few ups and downs to their married life, both of them can finally say they truly have feelings for each other. It was a long process, but they knew it was worth it.

"Hey, what do you think will happen after I announce my coaching career? Will the media blow off and lose their minds?" Yuzuru asked in a playful tone as he drove to the conference venue they were supposed to be at by 9.

Even with his suggestive tone, Aria couldn't help but think of it seriously as she herself, can be identified as the media. And Aria knows this news will not only be huge, but will stir a lot of stuff in the figure skating world.

"One thing though? Expect to be hit by a storm," Aria replied as this was the only thing she's certain of. "Yeah, it'll be crazy. Especially for you."

"You bet. The company will also have huge expectations just because we have the advantage of me being your wife while I'm working for them. They think it's literally easy for me to get any news from you."

Yuzuru laughed upon arriving at the venue, both of you looking for a parking place. "I always forget you're a media too, you never ask me about anything figure-skating-related at home."

They finally get to park quite far from the commotion the media was making in front of the entrance gate. Clearly, they were waiting for a certain arrival of someone named as Yuzuru Hanyu. And then a familiar thought crossed Aria's mind once again.

"And I always forget that my husband is the figure skating star. My job just couldn't be this easy, huh? How fortunate." Aria, finding humor in how coincidental their situations are, chuckled as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

As Yuzuru switched off the engine, he gently grabbed her chin and plants a quick peck on the tip of her nose, remaining his close distance.

"So you're finally admitting that you're lucky to have me?" Yuzuru with his cheeky grin screaming absolute confidence combined with his cheesy, yet charming lines always melted Aria; weak on her knees. And honestly, she'd rather not have it in any other way.

At first, Aria didn't thought it was possible to love Yuzuru past his greatness, his quirkiness and all that he is; perfect or flawed. But with time, it certainly was possible. It was a realization that this relationship they didn't want in the first place; could work out after all when carefully built.

"Whatever toots your horn," Aria replied with a shrug that caused laughter from the two.

"You know I'm lucky to have you too." Yuzuru, now serious, mumbled before leaning in to give Aria a meaningful, tender kiss filled with love; one that the previous them, could not fake.
