Twenty

Namjoon's P.O.V.

It's been half an hour. He's still not back.

Should I look for him? I've never kicked him out before.

"Who am I kidding." I put on my jacket and went to get my car. I had done a double check on TaeTae he's asleep.

"If I was Jin where would I go?" His family isn't an option because they let him go.

And there's no way he could walk to... wait it could be possible it's been an hour now.

I had to walk the rest. Jin loves this specific place because no one else comes here. Not even me I haven't been here in awhile.

I tried my best to stay quiet.

"Jin?" And there he was laying down facing the skyline. It's beautiful the way the lights shine at night.

"Jin I'm sorry I kicked you out." He's giving me the silent treatment.

I walked over to him. He's so cold.

I picked him up to take him home.

"Mm Namjoon?" His voice is so low.

"Yeah?"

"I hate you."

"That's okay I hate me too." I place him in the car.

"Alright TaeTae be good at school!" I ran to my car. I told Jin it's best for him to stay in bed and just sleep. I wanted to stay home with him but he insisted I didn't. I guess he wants to be alone.

The day dragged. "Namjoon!" It's Jimin.

"Go away."

"No listen!" He held me by my suit.

"Jimin let go." He walked back a bit "Listen to me please!"

"No." I started to speed walk away.

"IT'S ABOUT JIN!" I stopped. What could he know that I don't?

"He told me not to tell you but you have a right to know. Damn right I do.

"Jin he's lying to you all you have to do is find some files-"

"Honey! What are you doing?" I turned around slowly.

"I feel better so I came to see you! Hello Jimin."

I looked back at Jimin and he was tense.

"Jimin, what were you doing?"

"I was asking if he could-"

"He wanted to know why his grade from my class didn't transfer to his new class." I'm good at lying.

"Guys I'm not stupid don't lie, Jimin we had a promise." Jin grabbed my hand and pulled me away.

We picked up Tae and now we're home. Jin lying? No he wouldn't.

"Daddy!"

"Yes TaeTae?"

"Papa isn't coming out of his room to play."

"I'll get him."

I knocked on the door. "Jinnie, TaeTae wants you to play."

"Jinnie."

"Honey."

I began tapping the door more "Jinnie!"

"I'm going." He ran downstairs.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a suitcase. Wonder what's that for.

"Namjoon..."at this point it was nighttime.

"Yes?"

"When I said I hated you I didn't mean it."

"It's okay."

"But you said you hate yourself."

"Yeah I do."

"Why?"

"Because of how I hurt you." I walked into our room.

"What's up with this suitcase anyways?" It was big and clearly heavy.

"I'm leaving..."

"WHAT?!"

"I'm going away I need to clear my mind."

"How long are you going to be away?"

"I'm not sure..."

"You'll keep me updated right?"

He handed me his phone. "No I won't."

"Why?"

"I want to be alone right now."

"Is this you getting back at me?" He shook his head from side to side.

"Then?"

"I just want to be alone but don't worry you'll find out how I am every now and then."

"What about Tae?"

"Taehyungie...take care of him."

He kissed my lips slowly. "I love you goodbye."

"No." I grabbed his hand.

"You can't leave."

"Don't make this harder than it has to be..."

"Jin don't go." This feels more like I'm sending him off.

"Namjoon I love you remember that." He got free of my hold and ran downstairs.

"Jin!" I ran out after him. He ran out the front door and jumped down the stairs.

"I'm sorry!" He shouted out and got into a taxi.

"Jin.." I ran after the taxi. Jin was looking at me from the back window.

"DON'T GO!" The taxi turned the block. He's gone.

I ran back inside home. I heard something high pitch. The whistle.

"Daddy!" Tae was crying on the stairs.

"I'm here what is it?"

"Papa left right?"

"How did you know?"

"He told me he was leaving." Tae was crying in my arms.

So he had this planned out. "Common let's go to sleep." I carried him.

"Daddy I don't want to school tomorrow."

"Okay you don't have to tomorrow we'll look for papa."

We were in Tae's room and I was tucking him in.

"Can you sleep in my bed today?"

"Okay." I squeezed in leaving Tae more room than he needed.

"Daddy."

"Yeah?"

"I miss papa." How dare Jin leave Tae alone.

"Me too."

Damn you Kim Seokjin for leaving.

I'll find you Jin. I'll look everywhere I need to with Tae on my back.

And that's a promise.
