Erika's POV:
It was getting dark and I had done nothing all day but eat and scroll through my phone on the instagram explore page. My mind then turns to Jake and think for like the 100th time today why they think I will break Jakes heart and plus we aren't even dating and Im not planning too. I reached to my bed side to find my water bottle and then felt a slik bit of cardboard I take a look and find a note book I think for a minute to what it is and then I remember it is a gift from Jake and it had something inside it. I search for the page that had a blue dot on it,I carfully scan through every bottom left corrner of each page when I finally get to it after like 1,000 sheets of paper. I opened it to the page and it read "Happy Birthday Kido,Here is some more sheets of paper so we never stop talking. The night talks we have and also the winow talks are one of the best nights/Window talks I had in my life and you are a really close person to me. I also wanna thankyou for not judging me for my past and not being one of the girls that goes off with any random guy they meet at the club".I look away from the page and remember the things I caused last night."I also wanna thankyou for listeing to my worries and my non intersting stories and non funny Jokes". I chuckle ."You are one of a kind..Love Jake". my heart was beating so fast and I had butterflys in my tummy. Love Jake? what does this even mean?..I think to myself about the whole letter he wrote with my smile not leaving my face for a single second. I need to know what this Love means. I turn of my light and cover myself up with my covers and lay under them with a smile and a warmed heart. I then feel something really light hit me making it come through the coveres and blind me. I throw my covers up and attepmt to open my eyes I slightly get a glance and see its coming from my window and instantly know who it is I walk over and see Jake point a torch into my room with a wide smile on his face with a paper saying "Roof?" I nod and reach for some clothes to put on as I was only in a hoodie and underwear. I reach for my window and slowley open it so my mom wouldn't hear,I am in to much trouble already for my mom to find me climbing the roof with a guy Im not supposed to be talking to.I take a little step onto the window and reach for the ladder while slightley closing the window so I could still get in. I get to the top of the roof and Jake sliddes the piece of wood over so I could get over to his side so my mom couldn't hear me on the roof.I sit down next to Jake "Thankyou" I say hugging Jake as he hugs me back "For what?" he slightly giggles "For the letter you left me in the note book" Jake smiles "You are very special to me Erika" He says looking me into my eyes as I look back. I really wanted to ask about the love bit of the letter but didn't want to ruin the moment,Before I could ruin it Jake did "Heard about the Logan thing" he says looking at his feet dangling from the roof "I was drunk I didn't.." he cut me off "You didn't know what you were doing,I've been there done that and its not such good of a memory as you know.." I look at Jake "Are you guys gonna date?" he asks making me gasp "What No,Ew..I mean no offence but he isnt very attractive" Jake laughs "Im the hotter brother in the family" I wink at him,He then takes his arm around my waist and pulls me in and I lay my head on his shoulder "Thankyou for being here for me Jake" I say not looking up at him "I alway will be" he responds making me smile. I feel different about Jake,its something more than I think it is.
