We were walking on the sidewalk talking. "Wanna go?" Said Jake pointing to a play park with swings "Im down" we head to the play park in which there was only one light and rest was totally dark. We sat down on the swings both beginning to swing faster and faster. "Oh shit!" I yell as I could reach the top bar or the swings "Erika you are so gonna fall" says Jake laughing.
I instantly slow down when the swing started to slightly tip. We sat on the swings both slightly swinging we were talking and laughing. Thats what I most like about Jake,You can have a proper conversation with him not like some other guys that only talk about them selfs or other girl gossip.
Me and Jake were talking when we heard loud shouting coming towards us. "Jake do you maybe want to..." I say as I get interrupted by someone running towards me and screaming my Name "Erika!!" I see Taylor approach me with Maddie,Justin and Aston "Hey.." I said clearly knowing Taylor and Maddie were drunk but nit the boys. "Erika we have to go!" Said Taylor pulling on my hand to make me stand up "No what are you doing?!" I released my hand from her grip. I look to my left to find Jake sitting awkwardly on the swing "Taylor,Maddie what are you doing here?" I look at them "We came to save you! Now run!" Again in release my wrist from this time Maddie's grip "Why? From what? Plus how much have you drank?" Taylor looks Jake up and down in disgust "Erika we have to save you from the weird kid, he is gonna kill you like the kid from his old school!!" My face goes red from anger inside me as I wanted to scream at them both "TAYLOR LEAVE!" "Erika you are gonna die!!" I stand up and walk up to Aston as Jake stands up behind me looking to what I was gonna do "You all sent this dumbass to 'take me away' from Jake! Right?" "yes Erika, Jake is Dangerous!" Says Maddie as I want to hurt them really bad. I could feel Jake walk behind me when I feel his hand touch my hip. "Bro take your hands of her!" As Justin walks towards us, Jake lets go but I put his hand back on my waist "No,Erika let go" I let go as I see Jake approach Justin "Stay out of my life and Erika's life, so one wants you here" Says Jake right into Justins face as Taylor and Maddie backup and Aston steps up beside Justin. "What you gonna kill us too?" Aston says making Jake more angry "KILLER!. KILLER!. KILLER!." Jake had enough. Everything seemed in slow motion Jake swung on Justin putting a punch in his face and hooked Aston with his other hand then kicking him down to the ground. I quickly grabbed Jakes hand and we ran of back to the street lights.
We reached our houses,We stayed sitting on Jakes porch both in silence. "Jake don't worry about them" I say putting my hand on his "No Erika,I am a killer, I killed a man with my bare hands. No matter if I didn't mean it or not I did it and people won't forget about it." He says as I can feel him starting to tear up. I lay my head on his shoulder. "Erika can you spend the night at my house?" I think for a second "We have school tomorrow" I reply as Jake begins to think "you can bring you're stuff over to mine,Please Erika" I can't say no to him "Fine" I say as Jake gives me a tight hug. We walk to my house to gather all my stuff. We enter my room,Jake jumps onto my bed and lays "Ima pack be right back" i say as Jake nods okay.
I come back 15 mins later to find Jake asleep on my bed "Guess we are staying here" I say to myself. I slightly shake Jake to wake up. "Yeah?" He says in a tried voice "so we staying here?" I laugh "I guess" he says as he stands up and stretches out. "Ima change be right back" I say "Ugh again? You always leave me and I end up falling asleep" he says as I begin to laugh "not my fault that you sleep a lot" he chuckles "When you change there Ima go grab some of my stuff" "Okay" I say as Jake walks down the stairs and out the front door. I come out from the bathroom to Jake not being here so I slightly close my eyes for a second but end up falling asleep.
I get a huge fright when I hear chapping on my window and a face pop up. "Ugh oh my god Jake" I say as I begin to walk to the window. I slide it open to let Jake in "Thanks,Your mom closed the front door" I slightly chuckle and the fall onto the bed. Jake closed the window dropped his stuff onto the floor and fell on top of me. "ah Jake your heavy" I say losing my breathe "is that a fat joke?" He says making me laugh "You are one rude person Erika Costell" he says sarcastically. Jake gets of me and I flip around so Im on my back when Jake suddenly leans over me. "Am I too close?" He says as I begin to laugh, he gets even closer to my face "Too close?" "Its never to close for me" I say giggling non stop. Jake gets so close to my face that our lips are nearly touching. I couldn't resist but kiss him, I put my hands on his face a pull it closer to mine making our lips touch as we begin to kiss. It turned into a make-out which was getting more heated every second. The make out was going to a whole another level in which I pulled away and looked at Jake "I can't" I say as Jake says "Neither".
We lay side by side looking up at the ceiling. "Erika.." "Yeah?" I turn around to look at Jake "Can I ask you some thing?" "Go for it" Jake takes a deep breathe "You mean so much to me Erika and you understand me and stay by my side no matter what" "Jake get to the point" "Would you want to be my girlfriend?" I loose my breathe for a split second, but then remember about how much I actually like Jake and we spend to much time together and the talks at night that I love so much. "Yes Jake" I say without a regret. I go closer to Jake a kiss him passionately than I have ever. We get under the covers and fall asleep snuggled into his chest.
