I get woken up by a door getting slammed open,Loud running footsteps and shouting across the whole house. "Jake!" I say looking up at him while shaking him about "Someone is in the house.." As I finished the sentence the door burst open and here came in the swat team. Everything seemed in slow motion. I closed my eyes feeling tight metal hand cuffs go around my wrists and lead me to the main stairs. I look up at Jake as he looks at me "I Promise" he mouths looking at me I once again close my eyes as I feel someone grab me and swing me forwards as I nearly fall over. We walk out to find a Swat van and 4 other police cars standing with there lights flashing. I feel my head get put down as I was thrown into the police car. I look to my left to find Jake in the other police car looking down at his feet. What did Jake get me in.. I trusted him.. He promised that we would be safe.. he promised that this was his. I was looking out the window to my left still thinking about what happened and why Im even in this car.
The car door opens and a hand reaches for me and drags me out.I decide to not speak up,Im to too much trouble anyway. I didn't worry about my parents finding out,I was more worried about why Jake lied to me and why he put me in this situation in first place. I get sat I an empty room with a Chair on each side of the table that was set in the middle.My hands were free from the cuffs and I put my hands on the table resting my face into them,Thinking about what was gonna happen next.
The door opens and a Police officer walks in and sits down on the seat opposite me looking me in the eye,I slowly put my head up and look back at him. "You know why you are in here" he states still not looking away from me "No not really" I say making my eyes slimmer "Don't play games kid,tell me what your plan was" I look at him while he crosses his arms "You tell me or your boyfriend will get put in" "He's not my boyfriend" I groan "Whatever,Speak to me" he demands "I don't know,Okay?!!" I shout at him. At this point I wished I wasn't 18 yet. Everything is on me and my parents can't do anything anymore. "So you don't know anything that happened?" He questions "No! I already told you." I shout at him "Explain how you got there then" he says leaning forwards, I lay back in my chair "I ran away from home with Jake and he took me to this house that were staying at,He claimed it was his dads and we could stay there,and now Im here" I state and rub my eyes from being tired "Okay,Anyway your parents are coming with some clothes as I see you and your boyfriend had a rough night" he chuckles and leaves the room slamming the door. "What a fucking Jerk" I say to my self crossing my arms and lightly closing my eyes waiting for someone to come in the room sooner or later.
I hear someone walk in and straight away know its my mom and Dan. She stands at looks at me "Oh Erika" she says coming up to me as I stand up to hug her. "I told you to stay away from him" she says while we are still in the hug. She hands me some Jeans and a shirt and I get told where the nearest toilets are and go get changed. I leave the bathroom as Jake walks by me with a police officer holding onto his arm while he is still hand cuffed "Sorry" he says and then keeps walking, He promised. I get pulled into a office in which my mom and Dan were already in and get sat down. To make it sort.. I can go home and none of this shit that happened was my fault but shit went down between Jake and his Father and thats all I know so far. I leave the Police station and see that Jakes mom is walking up. "Erika? You okay?" She asks "Yeah Im fine" "Hows Jake?" "Oh erm...I've not spoke to him" I say lowering my head "Oh Okay" he says and hurry's into the Police station.I climb into my Moms car and drive home,I begin to feel a tear drop from my eye.
