Jasmine's POV

Ok I'm being dead serious. This chapter sucks.

It had only been two days since I was released from the hospital. Although Ant and I asked to come back to the show, Lin forced us to take two weeks of paid vacation.

"You wanna go out to lunch?" Ant asked. We were cuddling on the couch watching Friends.

"Sure." I said, though I didn't want to leave his arms. I got up and walked to my room to change out of my sweatpants.

"Let's go." Ant said, grabbing my hand and pulling me quickly to the door.

"Hungry?" I joked.

"Umm... YEAH! I haven't eaten all day!" He said. I laughed as he pulled me out the door and down the hallway.

We ate lunch quickly and went to an ice cream shop.

Ant ordered for us and I followed him to a bench nearby.

We chatted happily as we ate. Everyone so often, Ant would glance around. I knew what he was looking for.

"Ant, Noah's gone." I said the next time he did it. He sighed.

"I know but you can't blame me for worrying."

We talked for a few more minutes and then sat in a comfortable silence. Suddenly, Ant looked at me and burst into laughter.

"What?" I asked. He bent over, still laughing. "Whaaaat?"

"You have ice cream on your nose." He said.

"Where?" I asked, my cheeks flushing. I wiped the top of my nose, trying to get it off.

"No... here." He kissed me on the tip of my nose. I giggled.

"Well you have ice cream on your lips." I lied unconvincingly. He chuckled and leaned in. Our lips met for a quick minute.

"You just wanted to kiss me didn't you?" He joked.

"Yeah." I admitted.

We finished our ice cream and decided to go for a walk to a nearby park.

"Come on!" I yelled, pulling Ant to a willow tree. We laid down at the trunk and I curled into his chest.

We sat there for a few minutes before I got up. I gathered a handful of small flowers and wove them together in a way I remembered from when I was a kid, making a colorful flower crown. While Ant was lost in thought, I placed it on his head.

"You look like a pretty princess." I said in a child-like voice.

"Thanks." He chuckled, kissing me on the forehead. We sat in a comfortable silence before both drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

——

I woke up an hour later to loud thunder. Rain started to drizzle when I remembered that Ant and I were outside.

"Ant wake up." I yelled. He got up quickly, recognizing our situation.

"COME ON!!!" Ant laughed. We ran, hand-in-hand, out from under the tree and out of the park. By this time it had started pouring.

We were soaked when we got up to our apartment. I ran and laid down on our couch.

"Jas! You're all wet! Get off the couch!" Ant complained.

"Bite me." I responded, unable to form a good argument.

"Where?" Ant said, smirking slightly. I got up and pushed him down on the couch.
