The appointment came. I went into the
OB/GYN alone.
I saw five women, one with two kids, another with one and the rest having baby bumps.
I texted Grayson last night about what had happened. He ignored me.
"SMITH!" The doctor yells out, scaring me. I stand up and walk toward her.
She looked at me and gave me a look.
As she was checking me, I got a message from Grayson asking how everything was.
"Is that the dad?" The doctor said.
"I wish it wasn't!" I say as I inhale.
A month passed and I missed my period. I scheduled an appointment with the OB/GYN and Grayson decided to go with.
We went and everything went well, but still no results.
A day passed and I got a call. I answered it as I was shaking and scared. I was a seventeen year old who could be pregnant by her best friend's brother.
"Is this Madeline Smith?" The caller asked.
I replied yes and kept listening.
"Congratulations! The results came back and you're pregnant."
I drop the phone and drop my jaw as I freeze. I screamed for my mom.
She busted in my room. I showed her the recent call. She covered her smile and hugged me.
"Sweetie, congratulations but-- your dad!"
"Please don't tell, I want to tell him and Grayson at the same time."
My mom says okay and walks out.
I text Grayson, Cam and My dad to meet me for dinner at my house at five o'clock sharp.
Five came and I was more nervous than ever. Grayson brought his mom, which wasn't shocking.
"So! I got a call from the doctor." I say as I'm shaking. "I'm pregnant!"
