The Moment I Knew || GD

part 23

I woke up around six o'clock this morning along with Grayson on the couch beside me.

Cameron had went home to shower and get some good sleep, she'd be back later.

"You okay?" Grayson asks as he places his navy sweatshirt from last night on.

"No, I'm pregnant, Grayson." 

"You'll be okay!" He finishes as he kisses my forehead. "I'm goin' to head down to the cafe to get breakfast."

I begin to feel pains, once again. I press the small botton on the side of my bed to call the doctor. 

"Yes? Yes! What's wrong?" He asks briskly.

"What do you think? It's happened five million times!" I add as I hold my stomach.

He begins to feel on my stomach and do an ultrasound.

"Madelina! It's time!" He states.

"Good! Please- go get Grayson out of the cafe. Do that little intercom thingy and tell Grayson Dolan to come- now!"

A few minutes later, Grayson arrives.  I tell him to call both of our parents and tell them what's going on.

He continues to panic as he calls. Grayson sits beside me, holding my hand.

Everyone arrives but the only person allowed in the delivery room is my mom and Grayson.

"Maddy- you got this!" Grayson tells me as he grasps my hand.

"Alright!  Miss Madelina, I need you to push!"

I hear crying as I find a relief of pain.

"Time of birth!" The doctor yells "08:33!"

"Assuming the father would like to cut this?" The doctor says as he points to the newborn baby's umbilical cord.

"Oh- yes- of course!" Grayson says as he rubs his eyes, drying his tears.

"Maddy! -Look!" Grayson says as he hugs me and cries. "We made a creation!"

"Best creation ever!" I whisper through my tears as I feel Grayson's tear fall onto my neck.
