It has been two weeks since Colby had attacked me. He hasn't bothered me since that day. I'm pretty happy with my life right now. I have all the friends I need. I'm moving to a new school which means I have to make new friends and start over. Even though I will miss my old friends and have been through a lot with them, I think I will be ok. We moved into the new house a week ago but my mom is letting me finish the year at Emerald Square Middle School. I have thought about going to the town's library so I hopped on Blaze and we headed to town. The town was small and it was called Kellyville. The library wasn't very big but they had some pretty good books. I ended up getting a couple to take home and read because I was bored. I missed Isabelle and Gabby desperatley. I needed someone to talk to, someone I could share my feelings with. But who?

"April!" Mother called from the new kitchen. I walked up to her and waited for her to tell her what she needed me for. "Go take this apple pie to the neighbors. I want you to let them know we are their new neighbors." I groaned and snatched the apple pie out of her hands.

The neighbor's house was red brick with a beautiful garden in the front yard with blue and pink flowers. I gulped as I walked up to the green painted door. I knocked on the door and a girl, about my age, with short brown hair and brown eyes answered it. She was wearing a blue and pink dress with a jean jacket. I looked down in embaresment at my pink sweatshirt, jeans, and gray sneakers. I shrugged it off and opened my mouth to speak. "Hello. My name is April. I'm your new neighbor..." I trailed off as she smiled at me. "My name is Sadie. It's nice to meet you. Why don't you come inside?" Sadie opened the door wider to let me in.

Her house was a one story with a beatiful sunroom. The living room was huge and the kitchen was barn themed. I smiled as I entered the beatiful kitchen. I met Sadie's mom as I set the apple pie on the table. Sadie insisted we go outside. "I have something to show you," she had said. She led me to a metle barn with a round pen next to it. Inside the barn was a stall with a black horse inside. "Her name is Stormy," Sadie explained. She started telling me a bunch of facts about horses I already new.

I laughed and she looked at me confused. "I have a horse too. Her name is Blaze." Sadie blushed and then started laughing with me. Suddenly I realized I had made a friend. We never really needed to say it but I new we had a conection. I smiled as I remebered the old memories with my old friends. But now it was time to make new ones.
