I woke up and groaned as the cuts on my wrists stung as I turned.
Then I heard the FaceTime ringer go off.
I quickly panicked and looked to see Brendon was calling me.
I answered it seeing Brendon's face pop up. He was smiling, and so was I.
"I miss you." I was the first one to talk.
"I miss you too." Brendon said smiling. I reached up to tuck some of my hair behind my ear. "Did you just wake up?" Brendon asked tilting his head a little with a goofy grin on his face.
"Yeah, why what time is it?" I asked tapping my phone screen where I saw it was 11:45. "Jesus I slept in." I said tilting my head back and placing my hand over my forehead.
"Clay?" Brendon asked.
"Right!" I said getting up quickly and ran to his room.
"Daddy!" Clay was standing up in his crib. I smiled and set my phone down for a moment to hug Clay. I winced as my cuts my clean contact with Clays skin.
"Hey bud, I'm sorry I didn't come get you sooner." I said and Clay smiled jumping up to I could take him out. "Daddy's on the phone, wanna talk to him?" I asked and Clay nodded smiling and giggling. I pulled my phone off the changing table as I sat down on the loose with Clay in my arms.
"Hey Clay!" Brendon said and Clay smiled waving. I rapped my arm around Clays shoulders.
"Hey daddy!" Clay said smiling as he grabbed me arm. I hissed in pain.
"What's wrong Ry?" Brendon asked with concern on his face.
"Oh n-nothing." I said shaking my head and Brendon nodded.
"If you say so." Brendon said looking back at Clay.
