"Y-yes that's right next to my house." I said running to the back door and locked it.
"Oh, we'll send someone over right away. It will be safer to stay inside. Lock all windows and doors and keep your family safe." Howell said. I nodded.
"Will do, please hurry though my husbands hurt and can't go anywhere he's hospitalized in our living room." I said.
"We will send someone over, they will be there as soon as possible." Howell said. "Bye." He hung up, I put down the phone and walked back in the living room. I sat down on the couch.
Brendon was still reading to Faze and Clay. I smiled and leaned back a little trying to calm my nerves.
The doctor told me to keep Brendon out of stressful situations. So I'll have to deal with this one on my own.
"Babe?" I looked up from my lap to see Brendon smiling. "Could you bring me another cup of tea?" Brendon smiled tilting his head slightly.
"Yeah sure." I got up and grabbed his cup walking into the kitchen. I could have sworn I saw a shadow at ya back door. I tried to not think about that too much while I put another pot of water on.
I heard a knock at the door, that's when I froze.
